Building Facade Designer’s Assistant/ Third Party Quality Control Personnel for IGLU Project in Brisbane: Working in the Singapore branch, I had the opportunity to understand the process of getting BCA (Singapore) approval for curtain wall details, where I played a part in amending Shop Drawings and Panel Drawings for the Facade company Capstone. In addition I learned different components and features of windows and the Curtain wall Unitized Panels. I also visited the branch in Malaysia ,where I was antiquated with several key personnels in the glazing and curtain wall testing. I was fortunate to get first hand dialogue with Aluminum Power Coating Company (iCoat) in Malaysia and a Pre-casting Company (Coninco). During my time there I have had the opportunity to design a privacy screen for a client of Capstone Aluminum.

Design Concept: Bridge’s Transition model guides people to tackle change. He suggest that there is a Neutral Zone, that helps ease the journey between the ending of our previous state and the start of our new state. William Bridges Drawing reference to Bridges’ model of the psychological state of the human mind and how they respond to change. I adapted the Neutral Zone concept seeking to represent them physically.

Construction Detail I generated several construction detail proposals for the Star gazing Pods. Details 1-3 have a different jointing system and aesthetic quality. I tested these designs by prototyping them with a 3D print model to understand the joint systems. Ideally, I would have had the parts fabricated in a factory

use circular hollow sections and circular joint pipes is because they are readily available in the market. Figure 38: 3D print of the Chosen construction joint (Detail 1)
With the 3D printed details I was able to identify issues that the joints had and resolve them.

“God is in the Detail.” Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe Through this project. I was able to learn more about the construction of an actual building and understand the beauty and importance of Details.
This project also tested my model making and Drawing skills. Figure 71-77 : Construction Design Charles Mcbridge’s Pentleigh & Essedon Grammar School Model

“ Solitude is a place of Purification Martin Burber Through this Subject I tested different ways to manipulate the landscape. For this Project I wanted to create a home isolated from the public, while still able to enjoy the natural landscape of the site. Drawing inspiration from the Caldera landscape, I appropriated it to Figure 79: Ramps to go to the Farnsworth House
the site.
The Caldera Design included a water feature at the immediate site, bringing qualities of the river to the living space.

Figures 78-80 shows the rendered images of the site. Figure 81 shows the Plan of the landscape design. Figure 82 shows the rendered plan view of Caldera. Figure 83 shows a rendered perspective of the site.

Hobbies - Sketching & Painting Drawing since I was 5 years old.
Here are some of my paintings and sketches. 90
91
Drawing has always been a passion of mine and I have drawing and painting since I was 5 years old. Figures 91 and 97 were completed when I was 15 years old for my Art Portfolio. I continue to draw during my free time and seek to find opportunities to draw.
