I used cage edit to form my model. Attaining a clean surface as compared to my previous method.
Rotation- I edited the directions before lofting the sections. Creating a spiral effect.
Considered boolien union of the 2 objects
I experimented many times before deriving with the desired form.

Emergence based on the natural pattern and together with the problems faced it shaped my base pattern. (triangulation) Further developments occurred when translating it to a 3-D pattern. - Did not have surface meeting each other -Twisting hence not developable

Theme
Ways to hold the lamp
The concept of my project is to create a light and show projection simulating a rift where it enable the lantern bearer to enter. The effect is where the central is brighter and peripheral is darker this is in line with the original concept of which there is a difference with complexity and simplicity for the lamp design in module Hence providing a effect of entering into a new dimension.

- For this case we can see a distinct difference in effects. The light is allowed to enter and pass through the lantern. - The level of complexity changes as it moves away from the center. - the variation provides a unique experience

The paperâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s thickness was unaccounted for. The effects of the prototype did not meet the envisioned out come. However upon unrolling there was a separation of the design. One segment could be a design foe panelling

Panneling option 3 ( development from 1) Developing from my original panelling option I further developed a newer design. Considering the theme of entering a new dimension. Where things maybe warped. The concept of nature is also random hence I used a variable points to make my 3-d grid
In this design option I intend to use interference to create the effects of overlaying leaves (related to my nature ideation) What is in the design: 1. Base unit (the pattern in panel option 1) The hand gesture suggests how the lantern is a key to the new dimension
