Times were, and are, tough. It was, and is, literally time for the tough to get going.

Sandy Van Dijk is COO of Over the Rainbow. In addition to Hope Stories, Sandy co-authored a book called The Entrepreneurs Playbook with sister Lesley. The book aims to inspire entrepreneurs by changing their ‘what if’s into how to’s’, sustain their businesses and achieve success. The third author of Hope Stories is Dawn Nathan-Jones – a renowned South African entrepreneur. Dawn’s legacy lies in her role as one of the early pioneers of the Imperial Car Rental company, known more recently as Europcar. She spent over three decades building this fl edging car rental business with her two colleagues.
