Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Garden Centre Magazine for Minshull’s Garden Centre,
Inside this edition you can find a plentiful amount of information on what you can find instore, including a section on monthly garden tips. With knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand in store to help with advice or inspiration, complemented by the huge variety of stock available, you will be sure to find what you need for your upcoming garden and/or home projects. This edition also includes many different informative editorials and alongside you will find local businesses whose services may just be what you are looking for.
We have also launched a digital copy of the magazine, available to view on your smart phone instantly. OUR HERITAGE
John and Mary Minshull purchased the land the Garden Centre sits on in 1990.
They started a small plant nursery to complement their many market stalls. After years of hard work the nursery soon grew and began to establish itself as a Garden Centre.
All the children followed them from weekend jobs in to the business. After further developments to the site which included adding a Farm Shop and Butchers counter, Coffee Shop/ Restaurant, the business expanded and John and Mary retired in 2019.
The business is now run by their grown up children Karl, Steven, Laura and Karl’s wife, Charlotte and remains a family business. They have recently been joined by Steven’s wife, Emily who looks after the website and social media sites.
Providing customers with well priced products and a friendly, helpful place to shop is at the core of our customer service, helping us to gain loyal customers who have supported us and allowed us to grow.
COFFEE SHOP
Our fully licenced Coffee Shop offers a large cosy dining area, log fire, conservatory and outdoor patio to unwind with delicious hearty food and drink. There is no need to book, simply turn up on the day and our Team will quickly seat you or your party.
Whether you are stopping for our popular breakfast dishes, delicious homemade lunches or just a quick Coffee and our renowned Scones, there is something for everyone. Gluten Free, Vegan and Children’s menus also available.
Visit us at Christmas time and book in for our delicious 3 course Festive Lunch served in our cosy Conservatory.
PLANTS
We sell the highest quality plants, pots, compost and ornaments to allow you to maintain your garden and allow it to reach its full potential.
Plants are what we do best. Our large plant area is well stocked with stunning Seasonal displays, and a large variety of common and unusual plants & trees.
Our team are always on hand to answer questions and assist you with any advice you may need.
Minshull’s are committed to happy healthy plants. We truly believe that our hardy plants are happy and healthy and that they will flourish in your garden for years and years.
Did you know that you could purchase many of our products via our website www.minshulls.co.uk We also offer direct delivery of bulk bags and turf for those larger projects.
Visit us over the festive period for our stock of Christmas Trees (both cut & pot grown) and our beautiful fresh holly wreaths.
OUTDOOR GARDEN CENTRE
Our Outdoor Garden Centre stocks decorative aggregates, sleepers, stepping stone, rockery stones and much more. We have a large range of beautiful pots in all shapes and sizes to allow you to make those finishing touches to your garden.
We stock a beautiful range of Solar or Electric Fountains, Garden Furniture and Ornaments to add a bit of relaxation and style to your Garden.
GARDEN CENTRE PRODUCTS
Our indoor garden centre stocks a wide range of products to assist you with your gardening needs and enhance your garden. From chemical and fertilisers, garden décor, seeds, solar lights, furniture, tools, gardening accessories and much more.
We offer a great range of Silk Flowers, Tribute Arrangements and Cards for all occasions.
At Minshull’s we have an extensive range of pet products, foods and accessories to feed the wildlife. From bird tables, to hedgehog food and something for our four legged friends for play time.
GEORGE
Our now, resident cat George enjoyed our range so much he made the garden centre his home and can now be seen posing around the garden centre or on our displays.
FOOD PRODUCE
Our food produce shop offers a wonderful range of local and international food produce including our own daily home bakes straight from our kitchen.
We offer bread, eggs, jams, chutnies, fresh fruit and vegetables, pasta, cakes, cheese, beer, ice cream and much much more.
We stock a range of frozen meals from Cook when you want the home cooked goodness without the preparation.
Grants Butchers are located within our food produce shop.
Offering a large range of fresh meat whether you want a roast, bbq or something quick.
FRESH FLOWERS
We also offer a range of Grab and Go Fresh Flowers and Arrangements by our in-house Florist.
