Inside this edition you can find a plentiful amount of information on what you can find instore, as well as a handy section on monthly garden tips. With knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand in store to help with advice or inspiration, complemented by the huge variety of stock available, you will be sure to find what you need for your upcoming garden and/or home projects. This edition also includes many different informative editorials and alongside you will find local businesses whose services may just be what you are looking for.
We have also launched a digital copy of the magazine, available to view on your smart phone instantly. A Warm Welcome to North Walsham Garden Centre
We are an independent family-run horticultural business and we pride ourselves on friendly and helpful service and competitive prices.
Whether you are looking for plants, garden structures, fencing or paving, we stock everything you need when planning, establishing and maintaining your garden, from seeds to a full landscaping service. We are passionate about customer care and service, and our friendly, experienced staff love to share their knowledge and advice. Please don’t hesitate to ask for assistance.
We have a large, free parking area and we can always help carry items to your car. We can also deliver your plants, compost and gardening equipment to your door - our delivery service is available several days a week within our local area.

Plant Centre
We have a wide variety of shrubs, perennials, alpines and bedding available all year; always sourced locally wherever possible. We endeavour to stock a range of the most popular outdoor plants, new introductions, old favourites and plants that we simply love ourselves! There are so many wonderful plants in cultivation it is impossible to stock them all, therefore if we don’t have the plant you are looking for please don’t hesitate to ask one of our helpful staff and they will try and source it for you or find someone who may stock it.
Roses - Our extensive selection of roses includes a wide range of colours and scents to suit every taste. From old favourites such as Alecs Red to modern compact patio roses we try to offer a selection of some of the best cultivars.
Fruit Trees - We can supply a range of Apple, Plum, Pear, Cherry, Peach, Nectarine, Damson & Gage trees which contains a good selection of the most commonly sought after varieties.
Ornamental Trees - We endeavour to stock all the most commonly requested ornamental tree species such as Rowans, Crab apples and of course Flowering Cherries. Any size and specification can be ordered and quoted for on an individual basis.
Native Trees & Hedging Plants - We can supply bareroot and cell-grown Native forestry and hedge species in a range of sizes from 20-40cm up to 90-120cm.
Indoor Gardening
Having plants inside your home or workplace can add pleasure, creativity and improves air quality. We stock a wide range of exotic orchids, flowering houseplants and foliage plants, which would enhance any room. A wonderful gift for friends and family too!
In addition, we carry a comprehensive range of sundries to help you keep your houseplants looking their best. Our expert staff will be able to help you choose the right plant for your room and give advice on how to look after it.
Celebrating 25 Years of Blooming Success
North Walsham Garden Centre, a beloved fixture in the community, is celebrating a significant milestone this year as it marks 25 years since its establishment. Originally purchased by David Youngs in 1999, the garden centre has since become a cherished destination for gardening enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
Although David Youngs sadly passed away in 2011, his legacy lives on through the dedicated efforts of his family. Today, his son Ben, daughters Emily and Victoria, and sister Janice have taken the reins, ensuring that the garden centre continues to thrive and flourish for years to come.
With a team of 25 staff members who are passionate about plants and committed to providing exceptional customer service, North Walsham Garden Centre has become more than just a place to purchase flowers and gardening supplies—it’s a hub of community engagement and a source of inspiration for both novice and experienced gardeners.
Over the past 25 years, the garden centre has evolved and expanded, offering a wide range of products and services to cater to the diverse needs of its customers. From vibrant blooms to expert gardening advice, North Walsham Garden Centre has truly become a one-stop destination for all things green and growing.

Landscaping, Aggregate & Timber
At North Walsham Garden Centre, our landscaping department offers a comprehensive landscaping service from small jobs such as fencing and planting to full garden design projects. In addition to domestic landscaping we also undertake commercial projects and offer a countryside management service covering hedgerow and woodland planting. We stock a great range of aggregate, slabs and timber from the likes of Kelkay, Grange and Zest. Many varieties of gravel are available in 20kg bags or in bulk. This is available for home delivery. Please contact us for more information.
Our garden machinery department, located adjacent to the main entrance and restaurant, stocks a great range of lawnmowers, rideon mowers, strimmers and chainsaws from trusted and respected manufacturers such as Hayter, Toro and Oleo-Mac. We offer a full after-sales care including servicing, repair and supply of parts for most of the major garden machinery brands.
We are also stockists of Aspen fuel which contributes to a better all-round experience using your machinery, making your gardening easier and more enjoyable. It not only prevents expensive repair bills caused by stale fuel, it also protects your health and the environment.
Garden Furniture
