Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Garden Centre Magazine for Seasons Garden Centre,

Inside this edition you can find a plentiful amount of information on what you can find instore, including a section on monthly garden tips. With knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand in store to help with advice or inspiration, complemented by the huge variety of stock available, you will be sure to find what you need for your upcoming garden and/or home projects. This edition also includes many different informative editorials and alongside you will find local businesses whose services may just be what you are looking for.

We have also launched a digital copy of the magazine, available to view on your smart phone instantly. Please scan the QR code, featured at the bottom of this page, and this will bring up the publication for you to view. Seasons Garden Centre is a family run business with over 40 years of experience in gardening, gifting, DIY, Pet Care, Leisure, and Food.

Seasons Garden Centre here at Wilstead, Bedford was our first garden centre to open in the early 90’s and was soon followed by our Burton Latimer store. We have recently had the pleasure of opening our third Garden Centre in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. Seasons Garden Centres are proud to be at the heart of our communities within Wilstead, Burton Latimer and Chatteris.

OUTDOOR PLANTS

As you follow the doors to our outdoor plant area, you will find a large selection of our everyday popular flowers under the canopies and, with further exploring of our outside area, you will find a great range of trees, bushes and climbing plants.

Our garden centre team is here to advise and support you on your choice of outdoor planting.

At Seasons, our seasonal bedding plants include ever popular Pansies, Geraniums, Poppys, Marigolds, Petunias, Surfinas, Lobelia and much more! (Plants may vary depending on availability)

We have a great range of perennials such as Hostas or Euphorbia, as well as climbing Roses and Clematis. Our range of conifers and shrubs are established plants which come in various sizes to accommodate for both pots and larger established flower beds. These include Lavenders, Fuchsias, Acers, Buddleia and Hebe.

Larger items and display pieces are also available including trees, flower arches and hedging.

We also stock a range of quality Mr Fothergills seeds and Taylors seasonal bulbs including vegetable and wildflowers from leading growers.

INDOOR PLANTS

Looking for Indoor plants?

At Wilstead we have a vast range of houseplants. With houseplants continuing to increase in popularity, at Seasons we have a huge range of fashionable plants as well as the classics such as orchids, ferns and cacti. We also have a comprehensive range of indoor pots – so if you are looking for a gift or if you just want to add life to your home – we have it covered.

GET YOUR GARDEN READY FOR AUTUMN & WINTER!

Not only have we got a wide range of fresh plants available, but we also have everything you need to look after them. From lawn care, seed, weed and pest control to fertilisers and plant feed.

Our vast range of tubs and baskets come in greys, naturals, browns as well as some bright colourswhat will be your favourite? …and of course, we have compost and feed to help them look their best throughout the year!

We stock a wide range of lawnmowers, BBQs, leafblowers, jet washers and equipment to maintain your outdoor space including shears, pruners, hooks, supports and netting.

Arch’s, trellis and arbours can add style and dimension to any outdoor space and provide a much-needed support for many of our favourite plants including clematis and roses. We also stock a wide range of solar lighting, throws, fire pits and outdoor cushions for those summer days and cooler evenings – whatever you do make sure you do it in comfort and style!

Our range of water features will add tranquillity, harmony and sound to any garden, regardless of size or design. Listening to the sound of gentle flowing water is not only good for the soul but also great for all those thirsty birds and important garden insects.

If you are looking for fencing, aggregate, slabbing, gravel, rocks or boulders we have it all in store. Our recently extended selection is from a leading supplier and is priced to go! So, whether it is topping up the gravel, creating a rockery or starting a brand-new construction project come and visit to see for yourself our competitive portfolio.

Need new furniture?

We have a comprehensive range of indoor conservatory and contemporary outdoor furniture including fire pits, sofas, companion sets, egg chairs and bistro sets.

Our garden furniture comes in many shapes and sizes, to coincide with all budgets. So, if you are looking for a small bistro set to finish off your small patio area then you will be sure to love our Metal Bistro Set. Maybe you’re looking for something a little more relaxed, then our Pagoda Capri Garden Furniture is suited for you - available in 4 or 6 seater sets, it comes with stackable chairs and a crank & tilt parasol. For a garden set that offers more padding, then our Pagoda Roma range is for you, it comes with removable seat cushions (easy to be stored away) and is available in 4 or 6 seaters’ along with a two-seater companion set, or the Pagoda Roma Sun Lounger.

We are very proud of the 5-star food hygiene rating awarded to us in 2022.

Seasons Restaurant and Café is renowned for good quality, homemade food at competitive prices, all served in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where all are welcome (including our four-legged guests).

Seasonal Offers are available in store such as Christmas, Valentine and Mother’s or Father’s Day bookings. We welcome parties of any size and are happy to reserve tables to avoid disappointment on the day.

Sunday Carvery – here at Seasons, we do all the hard work for you so you can sit back and enjoy your food without having to worry about all the pots stacking up in the kitchen. With our helpful staff here to help serve up your Sunday carvery, all you need to decide is what meat or veg will be on your dinner plate!

Afternoon Tea - Why not treat yourself or those who we just want to say ‘Thank you’ to … by booking one of our afternoon teas. With a generous selection of mini-sandwiches, side salad, fruit or plain scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam and a bite size cake assortment, this makes a wonderful gift to those we want to share our love with.

GIFT SHOP

Within Seasons we have our very own specialist DIY store –WEST END DIY

West End is part of our group, and has been established since 1938, so we are confident of the expertise and product quality inside. West End DIY covers everything from electricals, bathroom and plumbing, decorating, guttering, sealants, light bulbs, tools to paints, wallpapers and much more besides!

We would challenge you to walk into our DIY and not walk out with something that you have been meaning to purchase for some time!

We offer brands such as Johnstone, Dulux, Ronseal and Harris and with over 200 bay of wallpapers we are delighted to offer one of the biggest ranges of quality and fashionable wallpaper portfolios available locally.

And, at Season’s West End store we have a DULUX paint mixing service which can colour match your exact requirements.

What’s more, we also have over ten West End DIY branches locally, so if you cannot find what you are looking for, we may well be able to source it from our sister branches, often for next day delivery.
