Our History
David and Annette Evans would like to welcome you to Pontarddulais garden centre. The garden centre was established in 1969 by Davids parents Ken and Margaret Evans selling concrete garden ornaments, paving, plants and then adding the tea rooms. The garden centre has continually grown since then to become the local garden centre of choice for quality plants, garden goods, garden furniture and of course our fantastic food offering in our tea rooms.
Circa 2012 we invested in a development that added a large conservatory extension to the garden centre and this has not only transformed the look and feel of the store but also doubled our covered sales space to ensure that customers can shop all our seasonal offering whatever the weather.
As a business we are always looking to the future and looking at ways to improve our product offer and of course add to our teams to provide even better customer service. We have recruited a fantastic team with over 100 years of horticultural experience and will use that experience to ensure we continue in our growth whilst bringing on the next generation of horticulturists.
