The Noble family have been running Victoria Farm Garden Centre since 2003. Originally farmers, Bill Noble diversified after foot and mouth when he noticed an agricultural mechanics site up for sale with a fantastic view of Whitby and the Abbey. He decided it would make an ideal Garden Centre so started Victoria Farm Garden Centre at Whitby which is now run by his sons Mark and Paul Noble
The Noble family bought Selby garden centre in 2017 which although was run down, they thought it had potential so over the next three years they completed a major refurbishment including the building of a 254 seat restaurant, new plant yards and car parks. Both the garden centres are managed by Anne Martin who has worked for the company 7 years.
The Noble family still own a farm at Whitby where they keep a small herd of Reindeer’s, where for the whole of December these Reindeer’s are present at Victoria farm and Selby garden centre for customers to come and visit for Christmas.
Here at Victoria Farm Garden Centre we sell a wide variety of plants, flowers, trees, shrubs and much more, having something for every garden. Our friendly team are always available to give advice or answer any questions you may have about our plants.

Here at the appropriately named Abbey View Cafe we offer a warm and friendly welcome to all our customers. We have many regulars who add to the cheerful atmosphere. There is lots of space, so come and meet your friends, or bring a book and relax in a quiet corner and enjoy the view.
At the cafe we have good parking and easy access and are conveniently located just opposite the Park and Ride on the A171 just outside Whitby. Dogs are also welcome on our covered patio area.
