The project aims to offer a possible solution to the threats brought by oil spills by inserting oil degradation technology into an experiential building. The visitors could arouse the awareness of marine environmental protection after seeing the seriousness of oil pollution while walking through the building.

As the leader of this group project, I am responsible for conceptual design, modeling, WFC research and significant parts of the drawings. The impact of the epidemic has further exacebrated the depression rate in Tokyo. This project is the answer for those seeking for a place to express their emotions. By applying AR devices and prefabrication techniques, customization could be more detailed and personalized.

It is obvious that ever since the epidemic, the overall mental state of Japanese adults has been under great pressure. The suicide rate had grown higher and due to the inconvenience brought by quarantine, people are lossing opportunities of releasing stress by socialing or other activities, which made the mental health situation gone worth.

This project is a narrative logic research, by separateing the tour into 4 parts, each can introduce an unique angle to guide the tourists to feel the space and beauty of tea garden. The space order is organized based on the topography, which further connects to tourists’ emotion.

The main building aims to create a route which is easy to follow, visitors will be guided to walk through the whole building and experiencing the moments of all different sections. Each perspective helps visitors to feel the conection between the building and the garden , respectively.

Anxiety amoung the elderly in urban and rural areas seems to be inevitable as cities are full of people while rural area is declining. This project would argue that the answer is hidden in popluation aging. Anxiety can be reduced by providing a fulfilled retired life to the elderly
