01 Industrial Memory Old district planning and design Industrial heritage as an important part of cultural heritage, its conservation and reuse has gradually attracted extensive atÂtention both in China and abroad. An important content of many city and area will be industrial historic buildings and appendages are included in the survey of cultural relics. The related research is becoming more and more. 02 Urban Sports Park Space reactivation / Transportation system reconnection The location of the site is surrounded by traffics from every direction, there are highway bridges at the upper side while a riverfront greenway at the lower side. It is very dangerous and noisy to occupied. A Newbalance center is next to the site, and people are still using the greenway, so the main goal of this project is to reorder the transportation system and use the exciting opportunities of sports to bring back the vitality. Type: Urban Design, Program Design Location: Boston, MA Term: 2016.3 -- 2016.6

BACKGROUND RESEARCH
¡ Sound diagram
The traffic around this area caused a terrible noise, all kinds of sounds mix together made this place hard to occupied. On the same time, there are a lot sports opportunities, it is reasonable to place a sports park here.

SPORTS AREA
Sports Area has different kinds of sports fields and some support buildings, every game happens along the main street through all day and all year, it could be a very interesting experience.
24
25
CENTRAL AREA
Central ares has a big plaze could host some outdoor perdormances, screen would play sport games. The main building has some rooftop sports fields, with a pedestrian bridge solved the problem of the disconnection.
26
By changing the exciting road conditions, some noise could be blocked and the circulation is reconnected. Add pedestrian road to make the noisy distance longer, street-side plants make it more comfortable and block the noice, the land cover building solved the circulation problem and created a quiet space. 27

03 Investigating Threshold Constructing Installation Start with paper models we build up a sense of abstracted spatial dynamics of inside and outside. Through a process of drawing and making, we have a new definition of “THRESHOLD: Threshold is the assembling area of different spaces. By building a human scale installation people could practice and feel this threshold spaces. Type: Installation build Location: Benefit St, Providence, RI Term: 2016.9 -- 2016.10

04 Relayer the Water Reciprocal Assemblies / Climate Change The site is located at the beginning of Fort Point Channel, where there is a combined sewer overflow, the water quality is not very good and the circulation is also bad. After did the research about the climate change, I found the water quality is a very important part of the whole eco- system. This project is about reorder the layers: the layers of human experiences and the layers of underground water filtering. Type: Climate change System Research, Pavilllion Design Location: Fort Point Channel, Boston, MA Term: 2016.10 -- 2016.12

05 Classroom About Light and Sound Phenomenon Study Before making any design of the site, we look deep into the nature phenomÂenas and other researches. Every phenomena has an interaction with each other, when they all work together we can know what to put in the site without design. As a landscape designer, the most important thing is to decide what to do with a place and guide it but to design a place. This kind of design grows with time, will never out of time. Type: Design Principle Location: RISD Farm, RI Term: 2015.9 -- 2015.12
40
This part is about how to use the simplest way to know a place. We can choose a simple module and use different ways to combine them, and make the phenomenon visualized. All the phenomenons here are relative with each other. After study the characteristic of a place we should know what suits there well or not

06 Maze in Farm Metal Sheet Installation In the farm there are most natural elements like trees, grass and wetland, during daytime, the leaves on the tree are creating fancy light and shadows, this installation use a reflective material to blur the light and circulation, create a maze in the farm. The shape of a bridge gives people a sense of enter to the wood, and also the during raining days the rain drops would have a sound on it.
