The new office offers a large enough floor plate to accommodate the law firm on contiguous protion of the 20th and 21th floors.Thew were particularly atttrcted to the building because of its proximity to Bryant Park and two important

The traditional buildings from Bulgaria become the inspiration for the overall design. The diagonal walls with triangular supports and black frames are the characteristic structures of the Bulgaria buildings. Keeping the Bulgaria traditional culture elements while abstracting and combining with modern materials in the office space to represent the history and traditions of the law firm’s home country, at the same time, establish the office as a “forwardlooking” presence in the US legal worlds.

Office Design CONNECTION This project is an office for the North American Headquarters of a Global Non-profit Organization. Office is located near Madison Square Park. The nonprofit organization called “Equality Now”. It works for the protection and promotion of the human rights of women and girls around the world. T h i s o rg a n i z a t i o n f o c u s e s o n t h e a re a o f discrimination in “Law”, “Sexual Violence”, “Female Genital Mutilation” and "Trafficking”. Since “Equality Now” is aimed at fighting for the rights of women, I think the connection of my design with woman is important, to design the office into a place that is homey, feminine, soft but have strength.

To create a homey space, I will use the wood material and fabrics, maybe even drapery run through the ceiling. Each office could also designed into small houses inside this office. I will use curves combined with the straight lines and sharp shapes to show the organization is not only humanistic and philanthropic, but also have faith and power to fight for woman rights. The logo of this organization is a pattern combined with the symbol of man and woman with an “equal” symbol in the center; the color of it is black and red. Red color is the essential color of the organization; therefore, I will use red color as the main color of my design. There may be a red line run through every room, cross from floor to walls to the celling, which means “Equality Now” binds every woman in the world.

Residential Design POTTERS HOME The number of people over age 65 in Manhattan has increased dramatically and is expected to rise 44% by 2030. In recent years, Congress has taken some steps to reform the long-term care system. The increase in population as well as the increase in lower and middle-income elders will definitely lead to a demand for options that allow us to stay in our homes of choice as long as we can. A housing model that serves as a basis for this class project, known as co-housing. A cohousing community is a type of intentional community composed of private homes with full kitchens, supplemented by extensive common facilities. This community is planned, owned, and managed by the residents, who want more interaction or support from their neighbors and may also desire to share costs.

This project is to explore a new model for providing housing and services for older people that is integrated with a larger urban community. The Owl’s Nest Residence will be a senior cooperative housing project occupying one floor of a building currently used as dormitories for several colleges, as well as other mixed uses, including community service organizations. This project will be a 10-12 person, single-floor cooperative residence for elders with a mix of one and two-person apartments. They are together in this small group for one reason: they all love making potteries.

Lobby Design INTERSECTION This project design for the lobby of graduate center of New York School of Interior Design. This lobby consist of lines (rods) and surfaces. Vertically, the rods intersect with floor, the wood panels intersect with ceiling. On the ceiling, the rods extended and interlaced with the vertical wood panels. The rods and panels are in different dimensions and angels offer more movement to the space. Materials here are concrete and wood.
