Research question The research question should be discussed on varies aspects as animation itself being a complicated form of art that could be influenced by numbers of elements that formed the animation. Animated documentary is a particular form of animation that reflects on historical events, society phenomenon or facts, etc. Animation could be a broad topic to talk about, The specific aspect that I could be exploring are more specific elements of the animation, such as the character designs or the scene design that I argued during the Context of Practice 2. Alternatively discuss the influence of animated documentaries. The question may be altered: to what extent has the animated documentary constructed our understanding or view of historical events and perceptions of truth? The main body discusses the character designs within animations especially animated documentaries.
Introduction A formal definition of animated documentary have not been clearly determined, I agree that it is an art form with highly freedom of replacing inexistent objects in reality, and visual effects which are unable to restore physically. The differences with filmed documentary determines how it constructed the understanding of history events, with artistic treatment. As an art form, I think it strongly manifest the personal attitude of animators, based on historical events in all forms, with rational storylines. The achievements and the nature of animated documentaries have attracted me, therefore I want to discuss its influences on understanding of historical events, either informatively or politically. In my opinions, each piece of animations can be interpreted as a form of documentary that reflects on all sorts of aspects, the purpose of the research of this question can improve the understanding of the reflections and perceptions of an animated film could give to its audience, I believe that it improves the ability of writing effective storylines and scripts as well.

Reflective Practice Proposals: ·According to the research question, I would like to produce set of character designs reflect on historical events, parody of existing designs had important influences on audiences either of understanding or perceptions. ·An ongoing sketchbook recording the process of researching and supporting the arguments. ·Sample of storyline and formal scripts of the animated responses, as a part of the pre-production of the animated response. ·A pitch bible as an individual group of works summarising the designs and scripts. ·An animated response based on the scripts and pitch bible in the form of a collision of styles within the animated documentaries.
