In general, and also agreed with many studies, once per day is optimal to post on Facebook with a maximum of two posts per day. Take into account that each Facebook profile or Facebook page is different. Depending on how many people are following the account and where they are based, you can even post up to 3 times per day. The minimum number of posts on Facebook should be 3 posts per week. Don’t post too much, otherwise you can seem spammy. As to when to post on Facebook, usually the best time is between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. for businesses and early in the morning or in the late evening for personal profiles. Make sure to decide on a precise time to post. Posts between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. would means that your posts will get lost in the crowd because this is the time when most of the people post on Facebook. The ideal would be 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. This is the time when people wake up and the first thing they do is look at their phone before getting ready and heading to work.

Post 1-3 times per day

Suggested 2 posts per day max

Post between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m., 2 p.m. or between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
It is recommended to post on Instagram at least once per day with a maximum of 3 posts per day. For both Instagram and Facebook, it’s important that you don’t overdo it, otherwise it can be seen as spam. It’s more effective to post less and more engaging images or videos instead of posting just for the sake of posting. Create a nice environment for your followers, so they will appreciate coming back to your profile and will be more likely to like and comment on your shared content. As to when you should post on Instagram, it really depends on the activity of your followers. But in general, you should aim to post in the morning, at 2 p.m. (just before or after lunch) or in the evening between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Posts are more visible when they are posted early in the morning. However, the engagement rate is higher later in the evening because in the morning, most people just ‘scroll’ through their feed instead of actually ‘engaging’ with it. Therefore, the best time would be between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., just before heading to bed and after dinner.

CONTENT WHEN CREATING YOUR POSTS,
vs PRODUCT
think more content, less product.
Your followers or the people liking your page want to engage with you and see more of what you can offer them.
There are three essential themes you should consider when creating your content on social media. Before posting, ask yourself if your posts are entertaining, educational or inspiring?
By defining your posts with one of these three themes, you’ll see more engagement coming your way. Help stimulate your viewers when promoting yourself or Young Living.
Entertain
Let your viewers enter your world with entertaining posts that also represent a sense of humour. Be authentic and create content that is relevant to your audience and to who you are. This will open the door for people to comment on your posts and add their feedback or experience. People love to be part of something and be encouraged to interact.
