YOUR AUDIENCE
Think smart not hard! When it comes to your social media posts, try to post only quality images. You want to attract your followers to come and visit your page with images and videos that are engaging but also pretty to look at. You define whether your audience will share your content or not. Attractive images or videos have a higher chance to get seen and they will also help you to grow your audience more organically. If you are struggling to find the right audience, use targeting to maximise organic potential. And targeting doesn’t mean that you must pay for an advert to target people. Set a location to your post, post to a specific time your audience is online—verify your Insights to get an idea of the activity of your audience—use hashtags that are relevant to your post and tag people in your posts in order for other to see them as well. Utilise all the different options that social media channels are giving you.

to grow your audience TOP TIPS
SHARE YOUR PROFILE EVERYWHERE
Everywhere your business has a presence, your social media should be
included. If it’s an event you are attending, have your business cards with
you. On your website, include a link to your social media accounts and when
you send an email, be sure to add your Facebook, Instagram and other social media handles to your signature.
80/20 BALANCE: USEFUL CONTENT VS PRODUCTS The golden rule is to have 80 percent useful content and 20 percent products. That 80 percent will help your new audience to build trust and the 20 percent makes them buy your products.
INTERACT WITH YOUR AUDIENCE Whenever you have a comment or a private message, be sure to respond and like the message. Your audience wants to see you engaging with them as well and will recognise your time in doing so by sharing your content and giving you positive feedback. PRIMARY LOGO

Social listening EXPLAINED
“Social listening is a way of monitoring your brand on your social media platforms for customer feedback, discussions regarding a specific keyword, competition or topic, followed by analysing the insights and acts regarding those situations”.
It’s ideal for your brand or personal profile to become unique and even a household name. The aim is to get recognised and noticed. Therefore, it is important to understand what social listening means and why it is important. You might not always know how to handle a situation where people are complaining about your recent post or any other red flag that occurred on your profile. Those are the moments when social listening comes into effect. PRIMARY LOGO

right content for your unique audience. Here are two main reasons why you should start paying more attention to social listening:
PEOPLE LIKE WHEN YOU RESPOND Customers want to feel heard on social media. They don’t want to be left alone. Help them out with a query they have and don’t wait too long to interact. As soon as you get the chance, engage with your followers or people who are liking your page to leave a better image of your brand. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR BRAND’S GROWTH With social listening, you can keep track of comments that might bring you or your brand down. By analysing the number of incidents on your profile, you can see whether you lost followers/likes or had an increase. This will give you an opportunity to see if you need to PRIMARY LOGO
