To stay up to date about those new features we have put together a list of the newest tools on Instagram for you in this guide. With its constantly changing algorithm, Instagram is a platform where you can create a huge engagement with your audience, in using the right tools at the right time.
Instagram has grown to be one of the most influential social media platforms in the world. For your business it is crucial to have not just a Facebook account but also an Instagram account and to familiarise yourself with the features that Instagram offers.

Once you are done scrolling through your most recent posts of people you follow, Instagram now shows you suggested posts based on what you liked before. Tracking YOUR TAGS
3. Story notifications
It’s getting more popular to create user-generated content via Instagram Stories. Reposting the story where someone has tagged you is very effective for your social media strategy. So, Instagram made it even easier for you to see who might have tagged you in their story within your notifications. Before that you had to double check your inbox and check if you didn’t miss out on a tag in your message request. As you wouldn’t see it straight away from someone who you don’t follow. With this new feature it is easier to find mentions and organise them. The whole process of reposting will become much easier as well

4. Create Story template
Instagram has a new ‘Create’ mode, where users can play around with Story posts and make even more creative stories. The main purpose of this feature is to combine interactive stickers, for example the questions sticker, text and drawings without needing an image or a video for the background. Using this mode will give you the chance to create engaging messages when you would like to talk about something particular in regard to your business or you would like for your audience to get to know you better.

Share
YOUR REELS
Reels can be recorded in a series of clips (one at a time), all at once, or using video uploads from your gallery. Record the first clip by pressing and holding the capture button. You’ll see a progress indicator at the top of the screen as you record. Stop recording to end each clip. Once your reel is ready: •
Move to the share screen: you can save a draft of your reel change the cover image - add a caption and hashtags.

Share your reel: it will appear on a separate Reels tab on your profile, where people can find the reels you’ve shared.

Share to Feed: your reel will appear on your main profile grid (you have the option to remove it).

6. Professional Dashboard
A new feature for Creators and Business on Instagram, is the Professional Dashboard. This is a great tool that can encourage you to turn your passions into a living, and for your audience to support small businesses. This tool can: •
Help you discover insights and trends based on the performance of your Instagram account.

Gives you access to new tools to help you run and build your business more efficiently, check monetisation status and eligibility.

Provides you with educational resources like tips, tricks, guidance, inspiration to help you make the most of Instagram.
NOTE This is a very new tool and might not be available for your profile just yet. Instagram is adding this tool over time as they continue to build out a suite of tools that help creators and businesses like yours to grow and succeed on Instagram.
