DAY 1 - LONDON TO BRISTOL VIA TOTNES
Your holiday begins with a scenic journey from London to Bristol via Totnes. Highlights of the journey include travelling alongside the Kennet and Avon canal before heading through the Wiltshire countryside to give glimpses of the famous Wiltshire white horses. As the train heads into Devon, it hugs the coast giving gorgeous views of the sea before climbing through the South Devon Hills. After a quick change in Totnes it’s off to Bristol in time for dinner. DAY 2 - BRISTOL
Enjoy a full day in Bristol at your leisure. Why not spend the morning sampling the culture by visiting the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery or climb to the top of Cabot Tower for some great views of the city and surrounding area. Spend the afternoon in Bristol’s old city and have some lunch at St Nicholas’ market before ending the day by watching the sunset from the Clifton Suspension Bridge, the symbol of Bristol. DAY 3 - BRISTOL TO LEEDS VIA THE HEART OF WALES LINE
Today you will travel from Bristol to Leeds along the ‘Heart of Wales’ line traversing some of the country’s finest landscapes including Gwent Levels, numerous spa towns and past historic castles. The Shropshire Hills can also be seen in all their glory, one of the UK’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. DAY 4 - LEEDS
Enjoy a full day in the UK’s third largest city. Some of the city’s main attraction include Kirkstall Abbey, where you’ll find he impressive ruins of an 800 year old monastery, Leeds Cathedral and Leeds Art Gallery and City Museum. There is also the wonderful Roundhay Park to enjoy, described as one of the most charming city parks in Europe. DAY 5 - LEEDS TO GLASGOW VIA THE CARLISLE AND SETTLE LINE
Your journey today takes you from Leeds to the city of Glasgow. On this journey your train will pass through the Yorkshire Dales National Park as well as over the famous Ribblehead Viaduct and through the Eden Valley. Arrive into Glasgow for the afternoon in time to visit the Kelvingrove Art Gallery for amazing masterpieces, wander Glasgow’s magnificent botanical gardens, or stop by the Riverside Museum and learn about Glasgow’s history as a great port city. DAY 6 - GLASGOW TO FORT WILLIAM
Today, you board the train and travel across the heart of Scotland to its picturesque West. The Highlands and Scottish countryside are a magnificent array of shady glens, rugged mountain peaks and a coastline strewn with quaint fishing villages. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in romantic Glencoe.

DAY 7 - JACOBITE STEAM TRAIN / WEST HIGHLAND LINE TO MALLAIG
Embark on a scenic train journey described by some as the world’s most beautiful. The Jacobite winds its way through breath-taking Scottish scenery. You’ll pass lochs and mountains, across the impressive Glenfinnan Viaduct and on until reaching Mallaig. Explore this charming coastal community before returning to Fort William. When the Jacobite is not running enjoy this beautiful journey on the local Scot Rail service. DAY 8 - FORT WLLIAM TO LONDON ON THE CALEDONIAN SLEEPER
Travel overnight in comfort from Fort William to London onboard the Caledonian Sleeper. DAY 9 - ARRIVE LONDON
