Pass Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, skirt the shores of deep lochs and winding rivers and catch glimpses of Loch Nevis on the way to Mallaig, a quaint but busy fishing port. Enjoy free time to explore before catching the train back to Fort William and transferring to Glencoe for an overnight stay. DAY 9 - FORT WILLIAM TO CHESTER

Check out of your hotel and transfer back to Fort William station, where you will catch a train bound for Chester. Founded as a Roman fortress as far back as the 1st century BC, Chester boasts myriad history to discover. DAY 10 - CHESTER
