DAY 1 – YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS IN MADRID.
Welcome to Madrid! On arrival at the airport, you will be driven to your hotel for a 2-night stay, then why not stretch your legs with a stroll around the beautiful Retiro park, then in the evening enjoy a drink and some tapas in the Puerta del Sol. DAY 2 – MADRID
Make use of your great sightseeing pass today, which gives you a choice of 3 great activities and attractions to visit. Discover masterpieces by Valazquez, Goya and Bosch in the Prado perhaps, or maybe visit Las Ventras – the most important bullring in the world, or in the evening enjoy a traditional Flamenco show in Torres Bermejas. DAY 3 – MADRID TO SEVILLE
Following breakfast at your hotel head to the station for your highspeed train to Seville, from where you will be met and driven to your hotel. Once checked in why not take a stroll along the river or climb to the top of the iconic Metropol Parasol for a unique view of this beautiful city. DAY 4 – AL ANDALUS, SEVILLE – JEREZ
This morning meet your travelling companions for the next six nights at the Hotel Alfonso XIII. Leave your luggage with the train staff and embark on a relaxed city tour and lunch before boarding the train itself. Following a welcome toast for all you will be shown to your private cabin to settle in before dinner en-route to Jerez.

DAY 5 – AL ANDALUS, JEREZ
Take the short coach ride to Cadiz this morning, the oldest city in the West. Enjoy some free time exploring the ‘Tacita de Plata’ and lunch, before returning to the train for the journey back to Jerez.
DAY 6 – AL ANDALUS, JEREZ – RONDA
Enjoy your a la carte breakfast onboard before visiting a sherry wine cellar of which the city is famed for, then watch a performance by the world-famous Dancing Horses of Jerez. Lunch is served onboard as the train makes its way to Ronda for dinner.
DAY 7 – AL ANDALUS, RONDA – CORDOBA
After breakfast explore the deep Tajo gorge de Ronda, iconic stone bridge, and ancient Moorish town of Ronda. Rest your feet back onboard the train and enjoy lunch as the train travels through the picturesque Andalucian countryside en-route to Cordoba.
This morning explore the magnificent treasures of the former capital of the Moorish Andalucian region, then lunch onboard the train. Visit the Moorish cities of Baeza and Úbeda today, both noted as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Enjoy free time in both before getting back onboard Al Andalus and dinner en-route to Granada. DAY 9 – AL ANDALUS, GRANADA
Today is a real highlight with a tour of the breath-taking Alhambra Palace. Enjoy some free time in this captivating building and romantic Jardines del Generalife before touring the ancient neighbourhoods of Albicin and Sacramonte. Visit Spain’s first Renaissance cathedral, stroll the evocative narrow streets and alleyways before relaxing for dinner in a local restaurant. DAY 10 – AL ANDALUS, GRANADA - MALAGA
Following your final night onboard the train, say goodbye to your cabin and the staff onboard as you take a coach to Malaga. Following the twohour drive, you will tour the magnificent Alcazaba Fortress and enjoy a final lunch with the other passengers at the iconic Parador Castillo de Gibralfaro, where you will also stay for the night. DAY 11 – MALAGA
Be it the world-famous Picasso Museum, relaxing on the sandy beach, or simply enjoying the surroundings of this spectacular hotel and Malaga’s rich history, enjoy your final day in Spain at your leisure. DAY 12 – YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN MALAGA
A car will collect you from your hotel for your journey to the airport and your flight home.
