DAY 1 - ARRIVE IN DELHI

Welcome to Delhi! On arrival, transfer from the airport to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day at your leisure. DAY 2 - DELHI/PALACE ON WHEELS

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel this morning before embarking on a half-day city tour of Old Delhi. Visit the 17th century Jama Masjid and take a rickshaw ride through the bustling Chandni Chowk bazaar. Also visit Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. After sightseeing, you will be transferred to Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station to embark on the Palace on Wheels train. Enjoy getting familiar with your luxurious surroundings onboard. DAY 3 - JAIPUR

This morning, enjoy breakfast in the comfort of your sleeper cabin onboard before disembarking for your exciting day tour of Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. It’s popularly known as the ‘Pink City’ because of its famously hued palaces and structures. Tour the city in an air-conditioned luxury coach, discovering the impressive Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of Winds, Albert Hall and the City Palace, home of the royal family, and the Jantar Mantar, one of the largest observatories in India. Later, ride an elephant to Amber Fort, the magnificent palace complex built from sandstone and marble. Return to the Palace on Wheels after the tour, where dinner will be served on board.

DAY 4 - RANTHAMBORE - CHITTORGARH

Arrive in Sawai Madhopur early today and disembark the train for an exciting visit to the tigers of Ranthambore National Park, located in the ruins of a 10th century fort. . After the visit, return to the train and enjoy breakfast and lunch onboard while admiring the scenery as you head to Chittorgarh. Once to the city, enjoy sightseeing and a visit to the Chittorgarh Fort, where you will witness a spectacular sound and light show. Later, return to the train for dinner and relax onboard for the evening. DAY 5 - UDAIPUR

Travel to beautiful Udaipur today and disembark the train to tour the romantic city. Visit the Garden of Fountains and the Durbar Museum, followed by lunch at the impressive Fateh Prakash Hotel. Then, cross the sparkling Lake Pichola by boat, past the majestic Lake Palace Hotel to visit the City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Later, return to the train for dinner and relaxation onboard.

DAY 6 - JAISALMER

After breakfast in your sleeper cabin this morning, you will disembark the train in Jaisalmer, in the heart of the Thar Desert. Founded in 1,156 A.D., the imposing sandstone fort is a sight to behold. Return to the train for lunch, followed by an exciting camel ride through the desert. Later, enjoy dinner at the city hotel before returning to the Palace on Wheels.

DAY 7 - JODHPUR

Spend the day in Jodhpur today, discovering the sights of “The Blue City,” named as such because of the preponderance of structures in the city painted brilliant blue. DAY 8 - BHARATPUR - AGRA

Early this morning, disembark in Bharatpur for a visit to the world-famous bird sanctuary, Keoladeo Ghana National Park - the nesting place of thousands of egrets, Siberian cranes, migratory water fowl, and many other species of birds. After the visit, return to the Palace on Wheels for breakfast and depart for Agra. On arrival, visit the historical Red Fort, the main residence of the emperors of the Mughai Dynasty for nearly 200 years. After lunch at the city hotel, visit the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. Return to the Palace on Wheels for a final dinner and overnight on the train DAY 9 - DELHI

After breakfast in your sleeper cabin this morning, disembark the Palace on Wheels in Delhi and take a sightseeing drive through New Delhi, DAY 10 - YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN DELHI

After breakfast this morning, take the transfer from your hotel to the Delhi International airport for your onward travels.
