CAN I MAKE CHANGES OR CUSTOMIZE A RAIL VACATION PACKAGE? Yes. We have over 300 packages and may have another rail vacation that better suits your clients. We can also customize any of our packages to fit their vacation needs.

HOW MUCH LUGGAGE IS ALLOWED ON AMTRAK? In general, each passenger is allowed two (2) carryon bags, free of charge. Each passenger can check up to 4 bags – 2 free of charge and 2 for $20 per bag if the origin and destination stations offer checked baggage service.

IS TRAVEL PROTECTION AVAILABLE IF MY CLIENTS HAVE TO CANCEL? Yes, travel protection is something that we offer and strongly suggest for all travelers.

Our Travel Protection Option allows passengers to cancel their Amtrak Vacations agreements for any reason up to noon Eastern Time on the last business day prior to the first services offered by Amtrak Vacations and receive a full cash refund minus the cost of the insurance.
