Prices are subject to change without notice and all reservations are subject to availability. Prices listed are quoted in U.S. dollars, per person, double occupancy. Our lowest prices may not be available on all days or for all sales. Single, triple and child hotel rates may be available upon request. All tours are offered to single travelers however, there is a limited number of single accommodations which are available on a first come first serve basis. Tour packages are based on two people sharing a room therefore the cost of a single accommodation will be higher. Unique Rail Journeys will do everything possible to keep single supplements at a reasonable cost. Please note that single rooms in many foreign hotels may be smaller than those to which you are accustomed. Unique Rail Journeys recommends that you pay in full at the time of booking. Once full payment is received, Unique Rail Journeys will guarantee that your purchase price will not increase unless you make a change to your purchase. All changes are re-priced to the current pricing in effect at time of the change.

TOUR PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE Tour prices do not include air travel, airline fees, airport or departure taxes, visas, customary end of trip gratuities for your tour manager, driver, local guides, hotel housekeepers, cruise ship wait staff and any incidental charges. International and domestic air schedules are subject to change at any time, we suggest not purchasing nonrefundable tickets or those with high fees for changes. Unique Rail Journeys is not liable for any loss resulting from airline schedule changes. If changes to an airline schedule require an overnight stay, that cost will be at your expense.

OTHER INFORMATION Specific requests must be made at the time of booking and will be honored at the discretion of a hotel or attraction supplier. Bedding requests are not guaranteed. At some hotels, there will be an additional charge if a crib or rollaway bed is required, payable directly to the hotel.

VISA & PASSPORTS You are responsible for obtaining and paying for all visas and passports, for meeting all health and other requirements, and for any documents required by the laws, regulations, order and/ or requirements of the countries you will visit. Non-U.S. citizens must consult the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed; you are responsible for obtaining all visas and entry documents independently. YLG is not responsible for providing you with specific visa and passport information or documentation, for any fees associated with obtaining these documents, and YLG cannot accept liability for any passenger refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure of the passenger to carry correct documentation. All passengers traveling internationally are required to have a passport. Most countries require that the passport be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the conclusion of your trip. It is recommended you have a minimum of three blank pages in your passport when traveling, as many countries require blank pages. Multiple-entry visas are required for some vacations. It is your responsibility to verify all visa and passport requirements. The process of obtaining a visa and/or passport can take up to three months or more. Some government agencies in foreign countries require YLG to collect and pass on certain personal and other details related to you, including but not limited to government-issued identification and passport details. If you fail to supply the details as requested fully and accurately, your trip may be interrupted or cancelled. There are no refunds for failure to provide documentation or failure to provide documentation by the time required. To enter and leave Canada, all U.S. citizens must carry proof of citizenship such as a valid passport or passport card. Noncitizens must have a valid passport, visa or alien card that permits entry into Canada. A “multiple entry” visa for return to the U.S. may be required. You are responsible for obtaining and paying for any visa, passport or documentation needed. Passengers traveling on Amtrak® rail into Canada must provide date of birth, citizenship and passport information at the time of reservation. Unique Rail Journeys is not responsible for any passenger that is denied entry into Canada. If the remaining portion of the trip must be cancelled, the passenger is subject to the cancellation fees noted above and is responsible for all fees to return home. Contact the Canadian Consulate before travel for current and further information. Information accurate at time of printing.

On arrival we transfer to the nearby village of Ballachulish where we will transfer to our hotel, Isles of Glencoe. B,D DAY 3 The Isle of Mull and Duart Castle This morning we travel by motorcoach to the town of Oban. DAY 4 Neptune’s

Staircase and Loch Linnhe cruise

Today we travel by motorcoach to Neptune’s Staircase, an impressive flight of eight locks operated by a team of at least three lock keepers. The 22-ton lock gates were originally hand-powered, but are now operated by hydraulics. It now takes approximately one-and-a-half hours to pass from one end of the staircase to the other, where water overcomes gravity and nature to climb the hillside. From here we continue to Loch Linnhe where we enjoy a scenic cruise across the water. B,D DAY 5 The

Jacobite Steam Train and Inverness

This morning we join the Jacobite Steam Train* for a return journey to Mallaig on the final leg of the wonderful West Highland Line, arguably the most scenic in the UK. We cross the 21-arched Glenfinnan Viaduct seen in the ‘Harry Potter’ films; one of the most iconic engineering works found throughout the British railway network. After time for lunch, we make the return journey to Fort William, from where we will check into the Best Western Inverness for three nights. B,D DAY 6 At leisure in Inverness Enjoy a day at leisure in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands with a relaxing stroll along the River Ness, or take the opportunity to explore further afield. Your options also include the Battlefield where Bonnie Prince Charlie and his Jacobite forces were defeated in the last pitched battle to be fought on British soil. B,D

Kyle Line and Eilean Donan Castle

Today we enjoy one of the most breathtaking railway journeys in Europe, the Kyle Line. This incredibly scenic route takes us across Scotland from east coast to west. The tracks rise and fall over hills and valleys, travelling at low speed throughout most of the journey, giving you time to soak up the terrific views. We arrive at Kyle of Lochalsh, the end of the line, located across a short stretch of water from the Isle of Skye. Afterwards we make a visit to Eilean Donan Castle, situated on a tiny island in Loch Duich, joined to the mainland by a small, elegant bridge. B,D

Rome, Sorrento & The Amalfi Coast 10 DAYS from $2,999* ROME > SORRENTO

DAY 1 Arrive Rome We arrive in Rome and transfer to our hotel, Hotel Universo. D DAY 2 ROME Our full day in Rome begins with a guided tour, during which we take in the city’s most iconic sights, including the incredibly well-preserved Roman Forum, and the theatrical Trevi Fountain. Following the tour, you are free to spend your afternoon savoring the sights and sounds of Rome’s seductive beauty. Visit the superb St Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican museum, stroll through Rome’s atmospheric streets, ascend the monumental Spanish Steps or relax in one of Rome’s many squares with a coffee or ice-cream. B DAY 3 To Sorrento We continue today by high-speed train to Naples, where a motorcoach meets us to take us to Sorrento. This beautiful coastal town sits perched on a towering cliff in its own mini-bay within the larger mini-bay of Naples where we will stay at Hotel Parco dei Principi in Sant’ Agnello, which enjoys panoramic views over Mount Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples. B,D

DAY 4 Exploring

Coast

Positano and the Amalfi

Today we set out along the Amalfi Coast road, which gives incredible views over the shimmering bay and the rugged island of Capri. The serpentine road twists and turns, threading through exquisite villages perched on the lush hillsides. We descend to Positano, an unspoiled traditional village perched on the mountainside, where the pretty pastel houses seemingly tumble into the turquoise sea. After lunch together we visit the beautiful town of Amalfi, where we have time at leisure to explore. Lively Amalfi is a true reflection of this natural coastal charm, and is dominated by its impressive cathedral and its picturesque harbor filled with expensive yachts and colorful fishing boats. B,L DAY 5 Pompeii This morning we catch the local Circumvesuviana train (Standard Class) to Pompeii, the world-renowned town tragically buried by ash following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD. The volcanic ash that fell over the city covered everything except some of the roofs of the taller buildings. While it was abandoned and forgotten until its rediscovery in 1748, the ash worked to ‘freeze’ Pompeii and its people in time. We have a guided tour of the shops, restaurants and villas that made up this fascinating city, as well as the Amphitheatre and the Grand Theatre. B,D DAY 6 At leisure in Sorrento Today is free to enjoy the charming, relaxed town of Sorrento, with beautiful coastal views and cobblestone streets. B

At the end of the journey we reach the Aurlandsfjord, a huge body of water where steep-sided cliffs rise majestically from the water’s edge and climb dramatically to more than 3,000 feet above the shoreline. Located at the head of the fjord, at its southernmost point, is the fjordside village of Flåm, which occupies one of the most picturesque settings in Europe, surrounded by bare-rock cliffs, verdant forests, lush green pastures and the serenely beautiful fjord. We stay for the next two nights in Flåm at the Fretheim Hotel. B,D DAY 4 Flam and the Fjords Cruise Your morning is free to enjoy Flåm, exploring the sights of the area at leisure. This afternoon we board a boat on the Aurlandsfjord for a fabulous cruise. Aurlandsfjord is a 10.5 mile branch of the world’s second longest fjord, the Sognefjord (126.8 miles). Together with Maeroyfjord, Aurlandsfjord is one of the most picturesque of its kind in the world. Our cruise on the fjords takes us north, pausing at Undredal, a small village and popular tourist destination along our route. We then leave the Aurlandsfjord, entering the Naeroyfjord. We navigate around the fjord to Gudvangen before returning to Flam by motorcoach for our scenic journey back to the hotel. B,D
