Adaptive Swim Lessons Ages: Fee:

3-16 years Y Member $70 Community $105 Participants develop water safety skills and improve swim strokes and fitness in this specialized program. Program includes time for fun, structured lesson and socialization through fun and engaging games. Ratio of instructor to swimmer is 1:3. Contact Kira E. Musical Sensations Ages: Fee:

1-5 years Y Member $70 Community $105 Musical Sensations, a music and movement program taught by Suzie Kramer of “Kindermusik with Suzie”. This unique music program incorporates music, movement, singing, dancing, instrument playing and improvisation to help your children develop physically, emotionally, cognitively, linguistically, socially and musically. Children who are actively involved in and exposed to music on a regular basis are proven to have elevated levels of math skills, language skills, literacy, listening, problem-solving, social skills, self-esteem and musicality. Suzie Kramer, Owner and Educator of “Kindermusik with Suzie” and Musical Sensations, will explore different types of music, singing, dance and drawing. Play percussive instruments and engage in fun drama/theater activities including improvisation, storytelling, role playing, and charades! The arts are essential for the mind, body, heart, and soul! This class will facilitate emotional, cognitive, social, and musical development. Make some new friends and build your self-confidence at the same time! Class length is 45 minutes. Adaptive Adventure Challenge Ages: Fee:

1-5 years Y Member $70 Community $105 Musical Sensations, a music and movement program taught by Suzie Kramer of “Kindermusik with Suzie”. This class incorporates music, movement, singing, dancing, instrument playing and improvisation to help children develop physically, emotionally, cognitively, linguistically, socially and musically. Children who are actively involved in and exposed to music on a regular basis are proven to have elevated levels of math skills, language skills, literacy, listening, problem-solving, social skills, self-esteem and musicality. Basic dance skills are taught using a creative movement vocabulary. Dancers are also exposed to ballet words, steps and music. It’s a fun class for princes and princesses in training. 3-5 years Y Member $135 Community $198 This dance class offers dance and art! Your child will dance and create artwork based on the Disney Hit “Frozen”, developed by our own Miss Leza! Mini Magic Musicals: Cinderella! Ages: Fee:

In this class, children develop basic stage presence, confidence and theatre skills as they learn and rehearse songs, dance and short scenes. Glee Jr. ages 8-12 years Learn the ins and outs of a cappella singing! This is a preparation class for overall musicianship, group singing and a cappella style. This group may perform some concerts, but will primarily prepare the students for Glee Club or future advanced a cappella groups. Glee ages 11-18 years Glee Club seeks to provide young musicians with advanced level singing and musicianship. Glee Club sings all styles of music and even works together to create some of their own arrangements. A committed performance group, Glee participates in exciting events across the North Shore. Wildcats Trampoline & Tumbling Pre-Team Our Trampoline & Tumbling team strives to train, teach and motivate children to achieve their potential in the sport of Trampoline & Tumbling. Our pre-team program begins at USAG T&T level 3. Athletes will practice twice a week for 90 minutes. Pre-team will help prepare your child to join our Trampoline & Tumbling competitive team. FIT-tastic Kids Club Ages: Fee:

8-14 years Y Member FREE Community FREE Learn how to make healthy food choices and find creative ways to be physically active throughout the day —all while having fun with friends! FIT-tastic Kids, a FREE program for Y and community members, follows a fun, interactive and engaging curriculum under the guidance of a Certified Personal Trainer that builds the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. Participants receive a free 8-week youth membership as a part of the program in order to continue their healthy habits in their off-time. 11 years and up Y Member $68 Community $100 Get strong and fit! Learn proper lifting techniques, weight training guidelines and how to perform sets and reps safely and effectively. Teen Spinning Ages: Fee:

11 years and up Y Member FREE Community $100 Experience one of the most popular cardiovascular workouts! Spinning is a high energy workout performed to great music. Learn how to safely set up and use bikes, warm up, cool down and stretch. Bring water, small towel and lots of energy! Cross trainers or cycling shoes are recommended (no skate shoes, please!) Private and semi-private lessons are a great way to get to the next level of swimming. We offer 30 minutes of instruction that produces results. Lessons are set up as appointments to meet your schedule and coordinate with our pool schedule (you won’t pay for class until date/time is confirmed). Certification is determined by successful completion of a comprehensive written exam and water test. Swimming skills are a prerequisite and attendance in all classes is mandatory. 16 years and up Y Member $250 Community $350 Do you want to be a Swim Instructor and receive your certification? This class offers the opportunity to co-teach swim classes where you will gain hands-on experience as well as classroom time necessary to become a fully certified swim instructor. You will receive the following certifications: CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, Oxygen Administration and the Swim Instructor certification. Togetherhood is the YMCA’s Signature Program for Social Responsibility. Road Race Series Volunteer Duties could include set-up, registration, water stop, split timer, finish line and clean up.

Front Desk Volunteer Duties could include greeting guests, answering phones, handing out towels and locker keys.

Swim Lesson Helper Duties could include greeting parents and children, helping younger swimmers with bubbles and getting into the water, assisting instructor with other lesson-related tasks, both in and out of the pool.

Administrative Support Duties could include mailings, data entry, filing, research, marketing and special projects.
