Families may contact our camp registrar for all registration and billing inquiries. The camp registrar or a camp director will be available every weekday afternoon and Saturdays 9:00am -12:00pm, May – June. You can reach the Camp Registrar at 978-374-0506 x 2605 or havcamper@northshoreymca.org

Registration
NEW THIS YEAR - Our improved E-pay system makes paying for camp easier than ever! The YMCA of the North Shore makes registering and paying for camp easy and convenient. Parents can register in person at the front desk or online and can choose from one of the three following payment methods: • Pay in full at the time of registration. • Use our convenient E-pay system and we’ll automatically draft either a credit/debit card or checking account 7 days prior to the start of your camp session. Never worry about remembering to pay! Secure your spot with a $25 deposit which can be credited for other camps or programs up until 7 days prior to the start of the camp session. • Pay a $25 non-refundable deposit at time of registration and then pay the balance at least 7 days prior to the start of camp. An emergency phone number and email contact are required at time of registration.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
All camp cancellations must be done in writing and submitted to the camp registrar at havcamper@northshoreymca.org • All cancellations accompanied by a doctor’s note any time prior to the start of your child’s camp session will receive full refund. • For families on E-pay, all cancellation submitted more than 7 days prior to the start of your child’s camp session will receive a Y credit. All cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the start of your child camp session will receive a credit minus the $25 deposit. All cancellations received on or after the start of your child’s session will receive a YMCA credit for the pro-rated amount paid based on the remaining number of days in the session minus the $25 deposit. • For families not on E-pay, all cancellations submitted more than 7 days before the start of your child camp session will receive a refund minus the $25 deposit. All cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the start of the session will receive a refund minus the $25 deposit and a $25 processing fee. All cancellations received on or after the start of your child’s session will receive a Y credit for the pro-rated amount paid based on the remaining number of days in the session less the

Camp Change Policy

financial assistance
Y summer camps are for everyone – regardless of income. The Y provides financial assistance for families who are unable to pay the full camp fee. Subsidies are available thanks to the generous support of “Y For All” donors and United Way contributions. Contact your local Y or visit our website at www.northshoreymca.org for a confidential financial assistance application or to make a contribution. Applications should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of the camp session to allow for processing. The Haverhill YMCA does not turn anyone away due to inability to pay. If you are applying for financial assistance, please allow up to one week for completed applications to be processed. Applications must be submitted by May 1st and a $25 deposit per week per child is required. All camps accept state vouchers.

Theatre Camp: Annie
Ages: Entering Grades 3-8, co-ed Session Length: Two Weeks Session Dates: 7/15-7/19; 7/22-7/26 Traditional day camp with an artistic flare. Take the things you love about summer camp in our fantastic nature setting at Camp Tricklin’ Falls and enjoy an added element of creativity. Campers will swim, play games, and do arts & crafts for a portion of the day, and then spend some time rehearsing Annie! This camp gives young stars an opportunity to experience the progression of a full scale show and it all culminates in a final performance to “show off” for friends and family. Haverhill YMCA Gymnastics/ Cheer Camp Offerings
Session Length: One Week Time: 9:00am-4:00pm; Half Day: 9:00am-12:00pm; The Haverhill YMCA offers many kinds of gymnastics camps for girls and boys ages 3 and up. The experienced and highly energetic staff is excited to give your child a summer they won’t forget! Each child’s day will consist of using all the gymnastics equipment. Vaulting, swinging on the bars, learning new skills on the floor exercise and balance beam, and of course jumping and tumbling on the tumble trak. Their day will also include lunch and snack times, arts & crafts, games and swimming in our indoor pool. Campers have the choice of: co-ed Kinder Gymnastics Camps for children ages 3 to 6; co-ed Youth Gymnastics Camp for children ages 6 and up; Boys Gymnastics Camps for boys ages 6 & up; Super Stars Camp for intermediate or advanced girls ages 6 & up; Cheer Camp for children ages 5 & up or Co-ed Gymnastics Mentor Program for children in middle school. The camps have a showcase every Friday afternoon at 11:30am for the half day campers and at 3:30pm for the full day camps. This is the time for the campers to show off their skills they have been working on so hard during the week! Family and friends are invited to watch. All campers receive a daily camper card to inform you of their day and a weekly report card to show you their skills. Please pack snacks, drinks, lunch, bathing suit, towel and an extra change of clothes labeled with their name. Families have the flexibility to choose between 2, 3 or 5 days of gymnastics per week.

We will explore a new book and related craft each day. Young dancers can use their energy to play, make friends, develop body awareness, create arts and crafts and gain confidence. Ballet slippers and tap shoes are encouraged but not required. In place of dance shoes, children should bring clean, indoor sneakers. Swim Camp Ages: 6 years and up, co-ed Session length: One Week Session options: 3-Day (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) 5-Day (Monday-Friday) Session dates: 7/15-7/19; 7/22-7/26 This full day camp is for swimmers looking to improve stroke technique for all four (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly) strokes. Swimmers will learn drills that will improve each stroke. Swimmers will also learn the USA swimming rules and regulations for competitive swimming. Each swimmer will work on: starts and turns, drills for all 4 strokes, building endurance/confidence/speed. **Prerequisites: Swimmers MUST be able to swim 1 lap (without stopping) of freestyle with rotary breathing, 1 lap (without stopping) of backstroke with rotation, 1 lap of basic breaststroke skills, and be able to tread for 1 minute without floating. Camp Tricklin’ Falls is a 14 acre camp located in East Kingston, NH along the Powwow River. CTF offers something for everyone. The Powwow River’s waterfront provides swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and river ecology. We have sports covered as well; enjoy basketball, volleyball courts, playing field and baseball field. Adventure and nature are also included on our nature trails, challenge course, 55’ climbing tower, and archery range. A summer camp setting would not be complete without our fun weekly camp wide special events, family nights, arts and crafts, science and nature, camper Adirondack cabins, and amphitheater and stage. Events include Ga-Ga tournament, team boating challenge, archery tournaments, a cabin decathlon and more. Week 4 7/8-7/12 Wild West Week Howdy campers! Join us for silly rodeo events, our own camp gold rush, and more ace-high western adventures. Costumes encouraged. Week 5 7/15-7/19 Medieval Carnival Week Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Come one and all for a week of Medieval crafts, characters, and activities. Knights and Damsels alike will join us for canoe jousting, armor-making, archery, and more. At the end of the week, all Haverhill Summer Camps will join our campers for an awesome Medieval-Themed Festival. Week 6 7/22-7/26 STAR WARS Week This fantastic week will include Jedi Training activities, Imperial Stratego, a Wookie Impersonation Contest, and much more. May the force be with you. Costumes encouraged. Week 7 7/29-8/2 Mystery Week Get out your detective caps and prepare for a week full of mysteries, suspense, and challenges, including a camp-wide Mission Impossible event. Week 8 8/5-8/9 Pirates of Powwow Week Ahoy, Maties! Join your friends and come aboard for a week of privateering, hidden treasure, and of course CTF’s Water Wars VII! Costumes encouraged! Week 9 8/12-8/16 Talent Show All campers have talent at Camp Tricklin’ Falls! Camp Tricklin’ Falls Special Events
Families are invited to join us at high Noon for a Wild West Family Barbecue. Ten gallon hats and big belt buckles are encouraged. The entire family is invited to dress the part of our awesome Medieval -themed Family Night. Campers grades 3 and up are invited to spend the night at Camp Tricklin’ Falls for our annual Overnight. So, bring your tents, pillows and sleeping bags and join us for a great evening of fun. Invite a friend to Movie Night on the CTF field. Movie selection voting will take place on the CTF Facebook page and during week 7 of camp. This CTF Family Night will also feature campers from our week 9 talent show. Ages: Entering Grades 1-4, co-ed Campers may choose from a variety of one week specialty camps that are offered throughout the summer at Camp Tricklin’ Falls. These specially themed camps which include swimming, sports, archery, and CTF themed activities will help break up the summer and keep the camp experience new and exciting! Y Science Camp Summer Series
Ages: 10-14 years, co-ed Session Length: One Week Extended Care: 7:00am-9:00am/4:00pm-6:00pm Each Haverhill YMCA Science Camp Summer Series is created with a specific scientific interest and creation. Campers work independently and as a team to create and test their concepts within each scientific field. All campers also participate in traditional summer camp activities including, swimming, fun games, and themed activities. Science Camp is based out of the Haverhill YMCA and will travel often to local testing sites and Camp Tricklin’ Falls. R.O.V. Week - 6/24-6/28 Members: $255 Community: $275 During Remotely Operated Vehicle week, campers build and create their own marine R.O.V. designing and creating a vehicle that campers will operate and conduct underwater mobility test trials in the YMCA Pool. Catapult Week - 7/15-7/19 Members: $255 Community: $275 This week is all about how far we can chuck stuff! Catapult campers discover the science behind catapulting, create working models, and team build a full scale chucking marvel. Ages: Entering Grades 7-9, co-ed Session Length: One Week Session Dates: 6/24-6/28; 7/8-7/12; 7/22-7/26; 8/5-8/9; 8/19-8/23 Adventure Leaders Camp is the summit of our Camp Tricklin’ Falls Adventure Program. Adventure Leaders get to experience weekly expeditions to local adventure sites including Metro Rock, challenge courses, waterways, and outdoor attractions. In addition, campers will attend an overnight each week, and experience advanced leadership instruction in archery, canoeing, orienteering, rock climbing, and wilderness survival. Overnights are scheduled each Thursday and will take place at Camp Tricklin’ Falls in NH, Sterling Woods in Beverly, MA, or Children’s Island in Marblehead, MA. A full trip schedule will be made available in March. Using adventure initiatives, our challenge course, and other adventure activities, we will also help these campers learn to set goals for themselves and work as a team. Instructors will provide small group lessons in archery, canoeing, orienteering, and rock climbing. A full trip schedule will be made available on February 1.
