Greek & Roman Mythology
Ages: 3-5 years Fee: Y Member $65 Community $90 Read stories about Jason and the Argonauts, Odysseus and his odyssey, and how the Greeks were tricked by that Trojan horse, as well as amazing characters like Mercury, with his winged feet, and Diana, the huntress. Create a work of art inspired by that story, be it a performance using movement and language, drawing, painting, sculpture or collage. Class length is 45 minutes. Instructor: Sarah Fader. Reading Readiness/Creative Movement
Ages: 3-5 years Fee: Y Member $65 Community $90 Each class will begin with a book read aloud, pausing frequently to explore each part of the story kinetically and rhythmically, using props such as feathers, streamers, scarves and instruments. Children will improve their reading abilities, coordination, spatial awareness, and recognition of numbers and colors, while they also learn collaborative skills and build self-esteem. Creative Writing

After School
Ages: Grades K-5 Fee: Varies The Ipswich YMCA School Age Program is a home away from home. Creative curriculum, sport activity, literacy, science, swimming and art allow for lots of individual choices in an ideal setting. Bus Transportation to the Ipswich YMCA for the after school program is provided from the Winthrop/Doyon schools in Ipswich and the Essex Elementary School. Parents have the option to choose a schedule that best meets their needs. A two-day minimum is required.

Jason Moore Soccer Academy (MSA)
Fee: Y Member $105 Community $125 Jason Moore is a former New England Revolution professional soccer player and MSA Director who now lives on the North Shore. The MSA program is designed to help develop players’ technical skills. Each session is structured to maximize the number of touches players getting, translating to increased comfort and confidence with the ball. Ages: 8-12 Fee: Ipswich Residents Only $90 Instruction in putting, chipping and driving by a Golf Professional at the Ipswich Country Club. Participants must be Ipswich residents. Dress code of collared shirt, Bermuda length shorts or pants, no jeans or metal cleats is strictly enforced. This program is a six-week session offered on Thursdays, May 2-June 6 from 3:00-4:00pm.

CAMP Summer Day Camp
Summer will be here before you know it! Spend a fun filled summer with Camp Takoma and Camp Dory. Get all your camp news and information online at www.northshoreymca.org Camp Takoma: Come experience a summer of traditional camp acitivities including Sports, Swimming, Arts and Crafts, Low Ropes, GAGA and Archery. Explore our wooded trails, visit our outdoor Arcade and participate in weekly themed activities. Camp Takoma is a place to meet new friends, reunite with old pals and build a summer of memories! Camp Dory: Located on the scenic shores of Chebacco Lake in Essex, Camp Dory is the place to be in summer. Each week is a new outdoor adventure including swimming, art, sport instruction, drama, orienteering skills and more. Discover the fun of kayaking, fishing, canoeing, and adventure treks with a pirate theme around the lake.
FAMILY TIME Talent Show
