VOLUNTEERISM
When you choose to give your time and volunteer at the Y, you are truly changing lives. The affordable programs and services that the Y is able to offer depend on the efforts of our tireless volunteers. From teaching our young participants values such as sportsmanship, compassion and respect to helping families flourish by providing support they need, volunteers are an integral part of our organization. Become part of our Y volunteer community with over 100 opportunities—some are date and time specific, while others are ongoing. No matter which opportunity appeals to you, know that someone’s life will be affected by the choice you make and the time you give. Y for ALL Annual Campaign Did You Know...?
The Salem YMCA is a charity. We are a non-profit organization focused on community and human services. 100% of your donation goes directly to those in need. Every dollar donated to our Y For All annual campaign is used to support local children, families and individuals through Y programs, membership and camp. Y For All is more than donors and dollars. Our annual campaign is a grassroots effort led by dozens of volunteers and businesses from our communities.
