for social responsibility Giving back and providing support to our neighbors

VOLUNTEERISM Give Time. Change Lives. Volunteer. The life you change may be your own. The Y works tirelessly to nurture the potential of kids, improve people’s health and well-being, and give back and support our neighbors. We rely on the help of thousands of volunteers to make that happen. T We have volunteer opportunities, right here at the Salem YMCA that allow you to give back and make a real difference. If you are interested, please visit northshoreymca.org for a list of opportunities.

GIVING ‘Tis the Season of Giving This winter, spread warmth throughout our community with a gift to support local children and families! Help us make a difference in our community by: • Making a gift of $50 to provide a safe afterschool environment for a child. • Donating $100 to provide a membership to an older adult working hard to stay active. • Giving $250 to provide positive programing for local teens at one of our centers. • Providing a child care scholarship of $500 for a family in need of high quality care during the work week. At the Y, the need continues to grow and we can’t meet it without your help. To learn more about the many ways to give, ask the front desk at your local Y or visit our website northshoreymca.org.

Planned Giving Common planned gifts include a gift made through one’s will, life insurance policy, or retirement plan. All gifts benefit our endowment, a permanent fund used to support the Y. Gifts made to the endowment today will help support future generations. All those who make a gift will be invited to join the Triangle Society, our planned giving recognition society. If the Y has left a lasting impression on your life, please call Sam Sanker, Director of Planned Giving, at 978.921.1753 for more information.
