Decade Theme Days: Monday—the Here and now! Pop music and dance parties Tuesday—60’s Poodle skirts, sock hop and slicked back hair Wednesday— 70’s Tie dye shirts, peace signs and groovy tunes Thursday— 80’s and 90’s Rock and Roll, leg warmers and some disco music Friday— The Future —> what would you wear? Metallic? Gold? Today is your day to dream!
We will be selling tickets for $0.25 a piece for campers to put into a jar voting for the top 5 counselors to be dunked. At family night at 6:30pm we will begin the dunking fest. Your camper (or you) can dunk one of the chosen counselors for $5.00. All proceeds go to help send kids to camp and provide them with activities during the school year. Thank you for your support!
Looking for camp during the week of August 25? CTF Traditional camp will be held on the entire week of Monday the 25th through Friday the 29th. Buses will only be running from the Haverhill Y and the Plaistow Y, 8am and 8:30am respectively and returning at 4:30 to both locations. Please sign up at the front desk by August 21st to make sure there is adequate space.
Camp Tricklin’ Falls is accredited by the American Camp Association. ACA sets the highest standard requirements for camping. 1
Your camper can have fun all year round with classes at the YMCA! Nerf Blasters Ages: 6-10years Fee: Y Member $55 Community $75 Run, duck, dodge, crawl and evade opponents in NERF blasters. In this class children will play games, participate in obstacle courses, have relay races and team competitions in a safe fun environment. Children are encouraged to bring their own NERF toys. Class length 55 minutes. HAV Y Monday 5:00pm
Rock Climbing Class—Level I Ages:6-8 years Fee: Y Member $90 Community $110 This class is for kids with little to no experience climbing. We will provide the necessary tools and motivation to ensure that the students will have a positive experience. The basic elements of climbing; commands, technique, and confidence are the cornerstone of this class. Class length 55 minutes. HAV Y Tuesday 5:00pm HAV Y Saturday 11:00pm
Rock Climbing Class -Level II Ages: 8-10 years Fee: Y Member $90 Community $110 This is a progressive class that takes participants from the basic to the intermediate skills of climbing. Participants will learn harness and belay set up, top rope belay techniques, knots, movement on the rock, bouldering, safety skills and goal setting. Class length 55 minutes. Advanced Rock Climbing Ages: 10-12 years Fee: Y Member $90 Community $110 This class is designed for climbers looking for more of a challenge. Class includes belay instruction & exam, route setting, simulated lead climbing, and more advanced climbing techniques. All necessary equipment is provided by the YMCA. Class minimum of 4 participants; max of 8 participants. Session length is 8 weeks. Class runs 55 minutes. HAV Y Saturday 12:00pm

Want to try archery and rock climbing? With this adventure packed class spend your time learning about both! Still some summer fun left! Week 10 8/18-8/22 Holiday Week Celebrate various holidays this week including Christmas, Halloween, Kwanza, Cinco da Mayo and Thanksgiving. Many camp wide activities this week. SPECIALTY WEEKS Week 10 8/18-8/22 Fish Camp Bring a fishing pole, and be ready to fish! Learn about different species of fish, pond ecology and use an underwater camera to see what else is at the bottom of the Powwow River. CAMP BALANCES All camper balances must be paid in full the week prior to attending Plaistow Community YMCA Summer Programs and Camps. Campers with balances may be denied coming to camp. LOST AND FOUND LAND Avoid visiting lost and found land by clearly labeling everything! Every day at camp closing lost items are attempted to be returned at the amphitheater. Clearly labeled items are much easier to become reunited with their owner! All camp lost and found is brought back to the Haverhill YMCA

Fee: Y Member $55 Community $75 This class is designed for younger participants with little to no previous archery experience. Weekly lessons include safety, equipment knowledge, basic skills and technique, and fun practice games. All equipment is provided by the YMCA. Session length is 8 weeks.
