Corporate Sponsorship Programs
OUR MISSION
To bring together and strengthen the community through programs and services that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all men, women and children.
OUR AREAS OF FOCUS
We stand for Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.
OUR PAST
In 1916 local philanthropist, Rebecca Witherell, gave the Y to the Town of Greenwich in memory of her husband, Nathaniel. At the time, the Y was a state of the art facility, featuring the first indoor pool in Connecticut, a billiards room, shooting range and bowling alley.
OUR FUTURE
With our 96.000 square foot facility operational we are excited about the future and our ability to service the needs of our community as well as strengthen our relationships with local businesses and corporations.
Y SUPPORT US? Join the YMCA of Greenwich and help support our mission of Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. By joining us, you show your commitment to our community, reach a potentially new audience and align yourself with the #1 nonprofit brand in the United States. We have a sponsorship category to fit your giving needs.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
We believe that children and teens deserve to have support from the entire community as they seek to reach their own personal best. Here at the Y, we are helping them gain the confidence and character they’ll need throughout their lives by providing exciting programming and healthy living initiatives.
2012/2013 HIGHLIGHTS • We helped dozens of kids gain confidence and have fun in our successful youth programs like fencing, chess club and basketball. • We provided hundreds of youngsters with a safe and nurturing environment at our childcare and child watch facilities helping them learn, grow and have fun. • We launched a revitalized summer camp program at the Byram Archibald Neighborhood Center, providing much needed care for working families during the summer months. • We distributed over $20,000 in financial assistance for summer camp enabling local children to have a safe, fun camp experience. • Our Marlins Swim School is one of the strongest draws to the Y. Over 200 participants in our learned swimming fundamentals in a safe and friendly environment.
HEALTHY LIVING As a Y, we believe healthy living involves much more than working out. At our Y, you will find a warm, close-knit community of friends and peers. We are more than a traditional gym. We are a true community center where everyone is welcome.
2012/2013 HIGHLIGHTS • Our group wellness classes, like Zumba and Body Barre, continued to be popular, attracting new members, young and old. • Our top notch personal trainers helped dozens reach and surpass their personal fitness goals. • Our spin studio was moved to the round room on the 2nd floor, creating a new fitness studio. The historic track and boxing/workout area reopened and the wall in the Wellness center was removed bringing the room to its full size.
