Family Friendly Programs Family fun doesn’t have to break the bank. Join us for free play time in our XRKade, on our inflatable obstacle courses and in our family-friendly pool. Members also receive discounts on Magic Place afterschool care, day camp, sports and other programs for children and families.
Strength and Cardio Equipment Each Y has a variety of strength and cardio equipment for members. Whether you prefer running on a treadmill, cycling beside a friend, reading while on an elliptical trainer, lifting free weights or using strength training equipment, you can do it at the YMCA.
Quality Child Care We provide quality child care in our Child Watch while you’re working out or participating in other Y activities for up to two hours per day. If you’re looking for longer afterschool care, we offer that too. Check out the Y’s Magic Place for elementary afterschool care and Y Pass for afterschool care for Andrew Lewis middle schoolers.
Swimming and Water Activities All of our facilities have year-round indoor pools that offer recreational swim and water aerobic activities. Certified lifeguards staff our pools, and our swim lessons are taught by trained instructors.

LEADERSHIP TEEN LEADERS’ CLUB The YMCA Leaders’ Club provides high schoolers (ages 13 -18) with knowledge, training, communication skills and valuable teambuilding experience through volunteering in YMCA programs and in the community. The Leaders’ Club program will train teens in physical education and service learning to better serve our community and the YMCA as they encourage each other to make a positive impact for present and future generations. A leader must possess strong character, a positive attitude, meet basic physical requirements and maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout the school year. Leaders’ Club is a school-year-long commitment that meets weekly. Interested candidates may apply to the club starting in August. Program fees are payable upon acceptance into the program. EDUCATION HOME SCHOOL PE Home School PE is a great way to work physical activity, healthy living, socialization and play into your home-school curriculum. Students can choose either gymnastic, swim lessons or the gym/swim combo. There will be time allotted for recreation in the Y-Arcade and in the pool. Space will be provided for families to eat lunch between classes. Discount rates are available for combo classes and 50% discounts are offered for the third child in each family. Parents and young swimmers, ages 6 months-3 years can come and enjoy the water together! The Parent/ChildSKIP program teaches water enrichment and aquatic readiness activities. The child will become aware of his or her movement through the water while the parent(s) learn the tools to keep their child safe in and around the water.
These classes offer preschool children their first experience in the pool without parental assistance. PIKE A: For beginning swimmers ages 3-5. KIDS MARATHON This non-timed, non-competitive event is an opportunity for young runners and walkers to participate in a marathon modified just for kids!
