Our Hours of Operation Mon-Th: 5:30am-9:00pm Fri: 5:30am-7:00pm Sat: 8:00am-2:00pm Sun: CLOSED

NO FRILLS. JUST FITNESS. Over the past two years, we listened to members’ feedback on how we can make the Gainsboro Family YMCA better and more accessible to as many people in our community as possible. On January 2, 2013, we opened the YMCA Express at Gainsboro—a place to get active, get fit and become healthier in spirit, mind and body. NEW Name The Gainsboro Family YMCA has a special place in the history of YMCA and in Roanoke. Our new name, YMCA Express at Gainsboro, honors the tradition of the Gainsboro Family YMCA, while reflecting our on-the-go location, and our branch’s singular focus on active, healthy living. New Membership Level We want to make sure that everyone can be a member of the Y. That’s why we’ve added the new YMCA Express plan. This $10/month “No Frills, Just Fitness” membership includes access to our cardio and strength equipment and locker rooms. Our Express Plus (currently known as individual/household membership) and our Valley-Wide memberships will not change and will continue to be available to both current and new members.

BUILDING A STRONGER COMMUNITY

The Y is a cause-driven organization that is for youth development, for healthy living and for social responsibility. That’s because a strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors.
