TEEN STRENGTH ORIENTATION AGES 12-15 This orientation is essential for teens who want to know how to safely perform a variety of cardio and resistance training exercises so that they are able to use the Wellness Center without direct supervision from a parent or guardian. LEADERS’ CLUB AGES 13-18 Leaders’ Club participants will receive training in the principles and philosophy of the YMCA and its various programs. They will become knowledgeable in all aspects of physical education, improve performance levels and strengthen traditional values and human relation skills. Y EXPRESS AT GAINSBORO YOUTH DEVELOPMENT LITTLE CHEF’S AGES 5-12 Come be a little chef! Children will learn culinary skills with healthy foods and garden fresh veggies, all while having fun! Workshops are led by the Virginia Cooperative Extension and will include farm to table techniques and proper use of kitchen utensils and appliances.
