The Mill Creek YMCA celebrates 31 years of serving our community in 2019. While our facilities, staff and volunteers may be different than three decades ago our commitment to contribute to the overall health of our community remains the same. The YMCA is a cause-driven not for profit organization with a commitment to strengthening the foundations of our community. Our dedication to our mission, To inspire, nurture, and strengthen culturally vibrant communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, allows us to help thousands of people each year. And, we provide over $435,000 each year in membership and program financial assistance, so that all kids, families, and adults can be a part of our community, regardless of income. Your donations strengthen the fabric of our community, and help us to give opportunities for all to become healthy in spirit, mind and body. Thank you for your generosity. HEADS & TAILS

Play for $25

Purchase your beaded necklace before the live auction and get ready to choose ‘heads’ or ‘tails’ and hope you don’t get eliminated! How it works: The announcer will ask participants to stand and put their hands on their heads or their tails - whichever they choose. A coin will be flipped, if it lands on heads those with their hands on their tails will be asked to sit down and their game is over. Those still standing will continue to play until there’s one last person standing. Winner will receive a fantastic Heads & Tails Treasure Chest including a 2 night stay at Quinault Beach Resort, Netflix movie night basket, Chukar Cherries basket and Cherry Valley Wine and Dairy Basket. Prize package valued at $838.

DESSERT DASH The dessert dash involves each table combining their bids to claim one of the delicious desserts available at tonight’s event. The table with the largest bid gets first choice to claim their dessert. To get your chance at the most delectable, scrumptious dessert, simply complete the dessert dash card on your table! At each table will be a Dessert Dash Bidder’s Card, fill this out with your bidder number and bid amount when the dinner portion of the evening begins. A runner will collect the bidder cards, and later the auctioneer will announce the order that tables get to claim their desserts.

BID THE BLUE LINE Bidding the Blue Line is fun and easy - simply write your bid number in the highlighted Blue Line bid space on the Silent auction bid form. At the end of the Silent auction everyone who bids the Blue Line on any and all silent auction items will be entered in a drawing for the Blue Line Bounty including a Puzzling Adventure, Locust Cider tastings, Peddler Brewing gift certificate, Wine Club Member for a Day, Two person sailing certificate, Palomino Restaurant lunch for 10, Hand and Stone Massage Rejuvenation package, and Josh’s Taps & Caps gift card and growler. Prize package valued at $1,020. We’ll draw the winning Blue Line bidder during the live auction. Remember, the more times you bid the Blue Line the better your chances are to win!

6. MILL CREEK POLICE K-9 UNIT RIDE ALONG What an opportunity! Win a 4 hour ride-along with the Mill Creek Police Department K-9 Unit! The new K9 team, affectionately known as K9 version 2.0, includes Officer Nathan Lerman and Bagira, a oneyear-old German Shepherd. Adults 18 years or older only, with signed waiver for ride and a background check. Waiver must be completed 2 weeks prior to ride-along date so that background check can be completed. Winner must have valid driver’s license and no significant criminal history. Ride is appximately. 4 hours, but could end early for safety reasons or go longer if the night is busy!

YMCA FAMILY CAMP FOR 6 Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day or Spring Into Summer (June) With more than 100 years of experience each, Camps Orkila and Colman make family camp an amazing experience for all ages. Families play together in the outdoors with our skilled, caring staff guiding activities and modeling the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Camp Orkila Located on the northwest tip of Orcas Island, Camp Orkila has been beckoning kids and teens since 1906. With 280 acres of private beach, pristine forest, and open fields, there’s plenty of space for an incredible array of programs. 10. YEAR OF MYSTERY OUTINGS What’s in the envelopes? We don’t want to ruin the surprise but we can say that there’s a little of everything from performances, to outdoor adventures, and unique VIP experiences to the casual date night - you won’t be disappointed! This is the perfect item for adventurous up for anything folks who don't mind a physical challenge or getting out of their comfort zone. We hope each month takes you somewhere you’ve never been or reintroduces you to the fun to be had around Puget Sound. Use it as a date or invite friends along depending on the event! The lucky winning bidder will receive a box with 12 envelopes for April 2019 - March 2020. Some envelopes will be assigned to certain dates while others will be any time that month. Each envelope will include an overview of the plans for that month's activity with destination information, gift certificates and directions. Some outings will include gift certificates for dining while others may have suggestions on where to eat near the activity provided. Each activity will last anywhere from two hours to a day long. Get out and explore with this year of mystery adventures!

RAISE THE PADDLE During tonight’s live auction you will have an opportunity to donate to scholarships that support many of the Y programs. Without Annual Campaign and your donation, we wouldn’t be able to serve the thousands of youth and families who need financial assistance each year. Your generous contribution can help in many ways. Here are just a few examples: $1,000 Funds two months of Pedaling for Parkinson’s cycling class, decreasing symptoms for up to 21 participants. $500 Funds one school year of Y Writers with a supportive instructor where kids learn how to write and share their creative side through writing. $250 A teen learns leadership, facilitation, and valuable job skills in a Counselor in Training Program.

$100 Four young children participate in a team sport and learn goal setting and accomplishment.

$50 Three children improve their fitness and water safety skills in an eight-week session of life saving swim lessons. $25 A senior can build relationships and community through participating in one of our many local or excursions.

Take a behind the scenes studio tour of KJR Radio with host Jason Puckett and sit in on his live show with former Seahawk Cliff Avril. 19. COFFEE ROASTING EXPERIENCE AND BASKET Enjoy a unique coffee roasting and tasting experience with Raymond Roeder, coffee enthusiast! Learn two roasting techniques and four brewing methods while Raymond entertains your group with history and education of the different types of coffee. AUCTION RULES & PROCEDURES CHECK-IN: Upon entering please visit the check-in table, each couple/individual will be given a bidder card and table number. To avoid having to wait in line at the end of the evening to check-out, be sure to provide your credit card at check-in. PAYMENT: All items must be paid for by the end of the evening. We accept credit card, check or cash. Please make checks payable to the Mill Creek YMCA. The YMCA of Snohomish County is a Non-Profit Corp. 501(c) 3 and your payments are tax deductible only to the extent provided by law. Our Tax Id # is 91-0565561. For your convenience you can eliminate waiting in line by using QuickCheck. Winning bidders NOT USING QUICKCHECK should allow 30 minutes from the time their item is recorded before reporting to the check-out desk to pay for the item. QUICKCHECK: No need to stand in line at the end of the auction to pay for your purchases when you use QuickCheck. With the QuickCheck system you will receive your paid receipts within two weeks following the auction. At any point in the evening, you are also welcome to visit the check-out desk to see what you have bid on and how much. Here is all you do: 1. At check-in, swipe your credit card to store the number in ourdatabase. These are kept securely with no access to the full account number. 2. Ensure we have current contact information (either an email or mailing address) so that we can send you your receipt after the auction is over. 3. That’s all there is to it! At the conclusion of the evening, just retrieve your items from the tables, and get any certificates from the cashier. SILENT AUCTION: All items in the silent auction will have bid forms in front of them. Simply write your bid number CLEARLY on the form. If you place your bid number under the “Guaranteed Purchase” price, the bidding on this item closes immediately and the item is yours. Once the Silent Auction closes you are welcome to return to the table to see if you have won. Designation of the bid you have written, as the top bidder, is a legal contract to purchase the item.

LIVE AUCTION: To bid in the live auction, hold your bid card up high, towards the live auctioneer. A bid acknowledged by the live auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the item. AUCTION ITEMS: Value set forth for items being auctioned are donors’ estimates and are not warranted by the auction for general value. All sales are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds except where noted. All goods and services must be claimed within one year of the auction, unless otherwise stated and all trips, tickets, services, experiences, etc. are to take place at a time mutually agreeable to both the winner and the donor. Items can not be refunded for cash value, or exchanged. REMOVAL: Please DO NOT REMOVE any item from any tables without verifying on the bid form that your bid number is circled as the winning bidder. Purchasers may claim gift certificates when checking out at the cashiers table. All items must be removed on the evening of the auction. WARRANTIES: The Mill Creek Family YMCA has attempted to describe all catalog items correctly, but all items are offered “as is, where is”. No statement contained in the catalog or made orally at the sale or elsewhere shall be deemed to be a warranty, representation of fitness or purpose, or assumption of liability for tax purpose or for general value. The values listed are estimates only of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted. The Mill Creek Family YMCA, on behalf of themselves and the donors, reserves the right to set minimum bids and/or reserve amounts on selected items. The Mill Creek Family YMCA reserves the right to pull any item prior to sale at this evening’s event. LIABILITY: Each couple/individual issued a bid number (bidder) assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and item obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability Mill Creek Family YMCA, their elected board members, committee members, the auctioneer, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction. The Mill Creek Family YMCA cannot be held liable for any unredeemed certificates where a company has gone out of business. NOTE: The Mill Creek Family YMCA will provide the bidder with an invoice listing the value of the items purchased, and the amount paid for each item. These invoices/receipts will be emailed to you after the event. If you need a copy printed out tonight, please stop by the check-out desk.
