DISCOVER YOUR Y FALL PROGRAM GUIDE WINTER PROGRAM GUIDE SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER JANUARY-MARCH EVERETT FAMILY YMCA

Welcome to the YMCA! Two years. That’s how soon we will open our brand new Everett Family YMCA at 4730 Colby Avenue. And yet whether our facilities are new or old, they house the same quality programs you can expect from the YMCA. Our early learning program prepares our future students for kindergarten, our licensed before and after school age child care programs offer convenience and peace of mind for parents, and our free teen programs provide youth the opportunity to give back and serve their community. We also encourage you to try our myriad of wellness programs designed to provide new-found energy and strength. Your YMCA has something for everyone! On October 14, we encourage you to join YMCA supporters at the Annual Bright Futures Benefit Auction with proceeds benefiting YMCA youth programs. In the 30 years of this event, over $1.1 million has been raised for the Everett Family YMCA. We hope you can join us for a great evening. At the YMCA, you can become engaged and involved in a community that has served the greater Everett area for well over a century. Welcome to the Everett Family YMCA; for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Ted Wenta Vice President of Operations

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION NOW IT’S EASIER THAN EVER TO JOIN THE Y! Membership in the Y is a special thing. Be a part of a leading nonprofit organization for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The YMCA of Snohomish County is a membership organization and anyone can join. So, with simple monthly dues, you have no contracts or minimum stays to worry about and no sales pitches to endure. Just quality, healthy programs that your whole family can enjoy.

MEMBERSHIP TYPES FACILITY MEMBERSHIP Get full access to fitness centers at all six YMCAs in Snohomish County with a Facility Membership. Choose from a wide menu of free group exercise classes, enjoy lap and recreational swimming, and receive a free wellness orientation when you join. And as a facility member, you’ll be eligible for priority registration and reduced fees on specialty classes and programs for your whole family. PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP If you’re not already a Y Facility Member and want to participate in programs like summer camps, youth sports, swimming lessons and child care, you’ll need an annual Program Membership. You’ll receive the same great level of quality and caring for which the Y is known, but without access to wellness centers and other amenities offered through a full Facility Membership. COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP Belonging is a philosophy at the heart of the Y. Everyone in the community is considered a free Community Member and is welcome to participate in key community events and programs such as fun runs, health fairs, and community education. MY Y IS NOW EVERY Y IN WASHINGTON We want to encourage members to use the Y as often as they can. Sometimes, it’s more convenient for members to use a Y in a different location when travelling, near a workplace, or in another region. Now, full facility/full privilege YMCA members can use other Y facilities throughout the state. See website for program details. CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP As part of the YMCA’s corporate membership plan, employees will enjoy the benefits of belonging to Snohomish County’s largest and most respected health, wellness, and human service organization. For more information about corporate membership, please contact the Member Services Director. MEMBERSHIP FOR ALL We believe everyone deserves a Y experience, so the YMCA of Snohomish County offers financial assistance to individuals and families who might otherwise not be able to afford membership or program fees. Ask a staff member about financial assistance.
