Welcome to the YMCA! Summer was a whirlwind for the Everett YMCA, with many exciting events taking place. This summer, we celebrated with our neighbors and YMCA family as we broke ground for the future Everett Family YMCA. We are excited to take you along on this journey as we start to develop additional programs and activities for our new branch. We will be offering exciting updates as construction progresses on the new branch, as well as opportunities for you and your family to be a part of this project. This Fall we hope to be there with you as you achieve your goals. We have enhanced our group exercise schedule to ensure that you have variety in your wellness routine, and plenty of opportunity to make new connections! Here are a few exciting events coming up: Welcoming Week, September 14-23 Harvest Carnival, October 19 Bright Futures Benefit Auction, October 27 Thanksgiving Day Workout, November 22 Sundaes With Santa, December 9 On another note, as we move toward opening a new branch, we have welcomed Kyla McNulty, Executive Director. Kyla has worked for the YMCA for over 30 years in a variety of roles and locations, most recently as the Executive Director for the past 9 years at the Mill Creek YMCA where her first task was to develop and open the expanded and newly renovated branch. Please join me in welcoming her to our amazing community.

FOR ALL: The new YMCA will be a vibrant hub for engagement and inclusion that unites our community and transforms lives. OUR The YMCA has been a cornerstone in the Everett community since 1901. Rebounding after the fire of 1920, and undergoing two major additions in 1960 and 1980, the Everett YMCA has continued to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background has the opportunity to live life to the fullest.
THE TIME IS As your YMCA and the greater Everett community have evolved over the decades, the need for facility replacement to more effectively achieve your YMCA’s mission is evident, including the demand to improve accessibility and program delivery. Supporting your YMCA has never been more important. The new Everett YMCA will serve thousands of youth, families, and adults, making Everett a better place to live for everyone. It will replace the current facility built in 1920, the oldest YMCA among the six Snohomish County Ys.

The Y is where
Help make it all
Our new Y will give seniors places to gather and socialize, families the support and resources to come together to play and connect, and young people safe spaces with positive mentors to help them reach their potential.
Construction is beginning soon on the new Everett YMCA and we need your help to finish the job. One hundred percent of all donations will be used to fund project costs.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Giving back and supporting our neighbors is part of what makes the Y the Y. We are a community and we lend a hand where we can. TOGETHER, WE CAN BUILD A BETTER US Every day, the YMCA of Snohomish County gives our community the support it needs to learn, grow, and thrive. From advocacy to food security, disease prevention to athletics, football to dance classes, everything we do helps strengthen our neighborhood and the people who live here. But keeping our neighborhoods great is a full-time job. Every day, our community faces new challenges that create a greater need for the work we do. And we need your help to do it. Your gift can help Snohomish County and everyone in it shine. For a better you. For a better community. The Y.™ For a better us. Learn more at ymca-snoco.org/ForABetterUs
VOLUNTEERISM & GIVING VOLUNTEER, DONATE, ADVOCATE Our movement is made up of people of all ages and from every walk of life, all working side-by-side to ensure that everyone, regardless of gender, income, or background, has the opportunity to live life to the fullest. Financial assistance keeps the Y available for kids and families who need us most. We count on the generosity of our members and community to help people of all ages and from all walks of life be more healthy, confident, connected, and secure. When you give to the Y, your gift will have a meaningful, enduring impact right in your own neighborhood. The Y’s Financial Assistance Program is supported by contributions to our Annual Campaign and United Way. And finally, the Y could not survive without the dedication of our volunteers. From youth tutors to committee members, teen mentors to fundraisers, board members to fitness instructors, volunteers lend their time, talents, and energy to help strengthen our community. VOLUNTEER, DONATE, ADVOCATE Across the United States, more than 500,000 business leaders, community advocates, parents, teens, and individuals who want to give back and support their neighbors volunteer at the Y. In 10,000 neighborhoods nationwide, including Snohomish County, we have the presence and partnerships to not just promise, but deliver positive personal and social change. Y volunteers give men, women, and children of all ages and from all walks of life the resources and support the need to be healthy, confident, connected and secure.
