SUMMER FUN FOR EVERYONE SUMMER PROGRAM GUIDE June - August 2016 Mukilteo YMCA
Mukilteo Community: Greetings & Welcome to Our YMCA, Summer is a great time to explore all the Y has to offer. For your kids, our staff has worked hard to provide the most variety of Summer Camps anywhere in Snohomish County. Kids can choose from our stellar licensed Discovery Camp, Horse Camp, Sports Camp, Venture Teen Camp, Specialty, Skateboard & Scoot Camps, and our new Mini-Camps, half-day experiences designed for 4-6 year olds. At our Y, there’s a camp for every type of kid, and each focuses on three key areas: Achievement, Relationships, and Belonging. In addition to Summer Camps, make sure to check out T-Ball, Swim Lessons and our new Safety Around Water program, launching in May. Because the Puget Sound is full of lakes, rivers, and beachfront, we’re focusing on ensuring every kid and adult who comes through our Aquatics Programs gains the skills necessary to be safe and have fun around water. For adults, check out one of our dynamic Group Exercise classes, which have been revamped and improved with new classes. Make sure to connect with Rene De Los Santos, our Health & Wellbeing Director, or one of his staff, to make sure we’re doing all we can to help you meet your health and fitness goals. Have a great summer! In service, Cory Armstrong-Hoss Associate Executive

Be a part of a leading nonprofit organization for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The YMCA of Snohomish County is a membership organization and anyone can join. You have no contracts or minimum stays to worry about and no sales pitches to endure. Just quality, healthy programs that your whole family can enjoy.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES FACILITY MEMBERSHIP Get full access to fitness centers at all five YMCAs in Snohomish County with a Facility Membership. Choose from a wide menu of free group exercise classes, enjoy lap and recreational swimming, and receive a free wellness orientation when you join. And as a facility member, you’ll be eligible for priority registration and reduced fees on specialty classes and programs for your whole family. PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP If you’re not already a Y Facility Member and want to participate in programs like summer camps, youth sports, swimming lessons and child care, you’ll need an annual Program Membership. You’ll receive the same great level of quality and caring for which the Y is known, but without access to wellness centers and other amenities offered through a full Facility Membership. COMMUNITY MEMBERSHIP Belonging is a philosophy at the heart of the Y. Everyone in the community is considered a free Community Member and is welcome to participate in key community events and programs such as fun runs, health fairs, and community education. MY Y IS NOW EVERY Y IN WASHINGTON We want to encourage members to use the Y as often as they can. Sometimes, it’s more convenient for members to use a Y in a different location when travelling, near a workplace, or in another region. Now, full facility/full privilege YMCA members can use other Y facilities throughout the state. See website for program details. CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP As part of the YMCA’s corporate membership plan, employees will enjoy the benefits of belonging to Snohomish County’s largest and most respected health, wellness, and human service organization. For more information about corporate membership, please contact the Member Services Director. MEMBERSHIP FOR ALL We believe everyone deserves a Y experience, so the YMCA of Snohomish County offers financial assistance to individuals and families who might otherwise not be able to afford membership or program fees. Ask a staff member about financial assistance.
