The piece requires an elongated balloon in order to be played. The elongated balloon should be the longer kind, from thick rubber. After that please cut the other end of it. The inhalation end of the balloon, that you didn't cut, should be places on the mouthpiece entrance Of the tuba. The hole area should be close to the edge of the circle. The other end should be place also near the edge of the mouthpiece. By creating so you will have a balloon attached between the mouthpiece and the instrument. It is recommended to place the wider part of the tuba on your thighs like you will place a French horn.

“Pag” in Hebrew means a premature baby, out of expiration date and cease to exist.

How to play the sounds. This is not by order of appearance . it is organized by a scale of difficulties . From easiest sound to the hardest sound to produce. Air note- breath through the mouthpiece. Can be varied with” saying wah wah” and “shh”

Distortion sound- make a straight line between you and the tuba and breath strongly, without embouchure. The pitch can be varied by you, like whistling.

Intonation differences

Multi-phonic/ Electronic/ Chord like sound- Should sound like the friction between to close notes. Please make a Z angle between you and the instrument. Stretch the balloon the maximum by making those two sharp angles: one between the instrument and the balloon And the other one, closer to you, between the balloon and the mouthpiece. Different heights of sound can be varied by you (like whistling) and mouthpiece location (up and down).

Distinctive normal pitch. Can be played by embouchure posture on the mouthpiece. Usually comes with a graphic suggestion.

High sound- the same as before but with finger touching the balloon, near to the instrument entrance. Should sound like precise cohesive pitch. You can find it by playing with your finger and after warming up the balloon. It will arise after awhile from "white noise" and multi phonic sound. This is the most elusive sound.

About the notation and the time frame: -∞db The notation is mainly graphic and moves from the highest pitch to the lowest pitch available in this installation. Crescendo from non audible sound The whole piece should be played very slow. Each page about a minute long. The rhythmical part suggests a certain "groove" and gesture to it, but still be very similar approach to the unmeasured majority of the notation. When the stave consists of five lines and or an erased bass clef, please try to make the notes different from each other as possible, the closest you can get to a scale.
