North Korea’s future land development plans should be in the form of forming strategic cities along with future industries. What future industry should North Korea choose?

North Korea’s future industries should be made up of industries that can raise North Korea’s GDP to the US $5,000 in a short period of time and should be made up of industries that can make North Korea play a role in Northeast Asia in the medium and long term. Therefore, it is important to develop a future industry that can raise North Korea’s economy one step ahead and a future industry that can enhance the competitiveness of the North Korean economy thereafter.

I would like to propose a three-step industrial development path for North Korea’s long-term and short-term future industry plans, First and foremost, the first stage is an industry that can be implemented immediately from 2020. This includes the specialty products, tourism entertainment, and rare earth battery industry. The next second stage is not right now, but it can be a long-term industry since 2035, including drones, security systems, and the animation industry. Finally, the last stage is aimed at normalizing national income and then securing the existence of North Korea in the world in the next era. These industries include aerospace, renewable energy, nanomedicine, and carbon fiber composite materials.

Look from afar

First of all, people can look at the pavilion from afar. The pavilion looks like just a large white box seen from a distance. It is seen a little different from existing surroundings. So, people apporach it with curiosity.

Face the pavilion closer

When you come up to the pavilion closer and closer, you may face the pavilion carved the shape of the mountain. And you can get a different impression unlike from far away. It is not just a large white box, but a cavernous tunnel with many paper layers. Enter the entrance

People finally enter the entrance of the pavilion. You can see the people drawing or writing something on the first paper layer of the paper. Everyone can leave a trace on the paper. So, it is changed constantly by the experience of people.

Feel the nature variously

In the pavilion, you can feel the nature variously walking along the road. See the surrounding nature between layers, smell the scent of nature like tree and winds, feel wind and sunlight blew through gaps between paper layers.

Come up to art

As you enjoy nature, you also meet art. This pavilion’s main role is a pop-up museum of museum SAN. It works as the teaser of the museum. It shows the image and information of SAN, and also it makes people be curious about the museum and exhibitions.

Look at the sky

In the last part of the pavilion, there is a little space accommodating only one person opened to the sky. People can meet the sky here and have time for thinking about themselves. Space is inspired by James Turrell’s works. It affects the way we see the sky and produces a special experience like his works. Go back to the nature

After finishing a short journey of the pavilion, people go back to nature. In the pavilion, we can feel nature and art differently following the route consisting of paper layers. And then we get back into the expanse of nature again.
