To The Students This is your book, your companion, your buddy. It was our baby.

Now may it help you to remember

the times spent along the paths of Y. C.

Times

spent in study, worship, play, and in just living. Clocks have ticked away the hours since then, and now those moments of college life are gone. Through the year the grandfather faculty co-ordinated our activity while we student alarms enjoyed college joys, occasionally

absorbing the majestic

knowledge of our elders.

We jangled our way

through cheering sections, recitals, and choir tours; we jostled our way through initiations, socials, and graduation.

Our watches ticked away the time.

More than that the noisy companions sent us scurrying off to 7:50 classes.

Now their rhythm serves

only to remind us of our first walk along that college pathway and anticipates those coming happy feet of future generations. John Bergland, Editor

ELLHIFFL!

Dr. Bisset, who poured his spirit into York College and her students for thirty-seven years, will always live in the lives of those who knew and loved him. His ideals and Christian character will continue to orient adherents everywhere.

Bishop Weidler, who was acting chairman of the Board of Trustees at the time of his death, has inspired those he contacted to a richer and more abundant life. This geat personality will continually be remembered as a man of Cod.

Once every few years a school must take its turn in having a poor season. This happened to be the year for York. Unable to produce the scoring punch necessary for winning games, York came through only once to hit the victory column.

Several good men are lost this year including Chuck Emerick, who has never scored, but is an exceptional defensive man. However prospects for a successful season next fall are good with the expectance of new football talent.
