“My student experience evolves on a daily basis. The faculty and staff at York College are always approachable. Every professor I’ve had at York so far has provided me a unique mentoring experience and I make new friends every day. Between York’s smaller class sizes, the cozy campus, and the wealth of different programs to choose from, I knew York College was the best choice for me. The Transfer Resource Center helped me transition every step of the way— I can’t sing their praises enough!” Jacob Rafferty, Graphic Design

GET SMART AND SAVE

A York education costs significantly less than the average cost of private institutions. Most students receive financial aid, one reason York is considered a “best buy” by several national publications.

VALUE ADDED

TRANSFER MERIT SCHOLARSHIP

York College is already an extraordinary value. Understanding your financial aid options can make it even better.

Depending on cumulative GPA, recipients earn up to $4,000 per academic year, for up to six continuous full-time semesters toward a single undergraduate degree. Members of PTK are also awarded an additional scholarship for their exceptional academic credentials.

We work closely with transfer students and families to structure financing plans that are the best fit. Aid and scholarship opportunities abound—some especially for transfer students. We’ll connect you with the ones that are right for you.

Life is good on campus. Residence Life and Campus Housing makes it a priority. They’re here to help students connect living with academic achievement, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The office provides off-campus housing assistance and supports commuters, as well. Living in York, PA., population 45,000, is also a plus. Boutiques, local eateries, and creative businesses are transforming downtown into a place where people love to shop, work, and socialize. Proximity to such cities as Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia makes York a great place to live.
