FESTIVAL PROGRAMME

ME

O

Welcome to The Great Yorkshire Fringe: we are delighted to be back home on Tykes Green (Parliament Street to the uninitiated) with what we believe to be our most jam-packed, fun-filled, full-throttle festival to date.

Now in our fourth year, we are as always thrilled with the response we get from the residents of York and beyond. As born and bred Yorkshire folk, we are proud and feel privileged to showcase such a wide variety of acts from near and far here in our home town. This year, along with our festival site venues, we are being hosted across the city in venues big and small, from headline acts at The Grand Opera House to our free fringe partners at 1331.

It may seem clichĂŠd, but without the people of York this festival wouldn't be possible. The festival team is made up of proud Yorkshire volunteers, suppliers, traders, artists, carpenters, technicians security guards and of course audiences, and we would like to show our deepest gratitude to all those who help make The Great Yorkshire Fringe the success that it is, here in the heart of Yorkshire.

Finally, thank you to Leicester Square Theatre's ongoing support over the last 5 years. A proudly Yorkshire family business in the West End of London. So welcome one and, all, raise a glass, a smile and a Yorkshire pud to The Great Yorkshire Fringe 2018 we'll see you on the green!
