Who is Money Heroes for?
Money Heroes is for anyone supporting young children at a learning age of 3-11; this includes parents, carers, teachers and other educators.
Is there a cost?
No! Money Heroes is entirely free of charge – this includes our full range of resources, storybooks, games and our CPD offer for teachers.
What resources do Money Heroes offer?
Money Heroes offers a wide variety of resources including storybooks, games, support resources, guidance booklets, podcasts and downloadable activities/lesson plans. We also support those of you working with children with SEND; we have a full range of SEND, ability-led activities and 5 accessible versions of our storybooks (braille, BSL sign language, audiobooks, large print & early readers). We also have Welsh language versions.
Can I download resources?
Yes, you can download our activities and storybooks as eBooks and audiobooks! This means you will need no WiFi connection when using the resources.
Who can order hard-copy resources?
Only educators in formal educational settings can order hard-copy books and games. The exception is our SEND braille and large print books, which can be ordered on a needs basis.
Do I need to use all of the resources?
No, they have been designed to be as flexible as possible, so you can use them how best works for you – you can use a single resource for a stand-alone lesson, a selection of them as a series, or all of them over time.
How do I know the resources are good quality?
The Money Heroes resources have obtained the Financial Education Quality Mark – the stamp of approval for financial education resources. The Quality Mark is designed to give educators confidence that the financial education materials they are using are of the highest educational value, contain accurate and up-to-date information and are engaging and relevant for young people. Our resources have also been tested by teachers and parents in focus groups.
Additionally, at the end of our first 3 years (Dec. 2022) Money Heroes underwent a large, external evaluation; the results of this were overwhelmingly positive and can be found in our Impact Report.
