GET READY TO SHOP OUR BLACK FRIDAY PROMOTION! A MESSAGE FROM MARY

Plan now to get exclusive bundles on November 29

Hello, Everyone, Several years ago Gary was invited to South Africa to speak at a farming seminar. He became very excited and wanted to build a farm there. I guess I popped his bubble when I pointed out how far away it was and how difficult it would be for our family. He had to acknowledge that, but he never quit talking about it. He loved the South African people and knew that they would be very receptive to Young Living. As we watched Europe grow under the leadership of Peter Foss, Gary said it was time to open South Africa; and so off went Peter, with Gary’s direction. What’s happening in South Africa is exactly what Gary knew would happen. South Africans pride themselves on living the spirit of Nguni ubuntu, which is a Bantu term meaning "humanity." It is often translated as "I am because we are," or "humanity toward others," which they practice in every aspect of their lives, particularly in business culture. Those fortunate enough to own businesses in the country conduct their affairs with not only a high level of professionalism but also with kindness and generosity, which bring the world that special essence that ubuntu affords. We cut the ribbon on October 27, with over 1,000 members in attendance, and added 10 other African markets. The office and Experience Center in Johannesburg are finished, and a team of 12 employees is fully engaged. We have two training rooms, one seating 80 people and the other 220 people, which are continually in use. We have major PR campaigns going and even had an hour on a radio talk show. As Peter says, “The people of South Africa have so much heart. They are happy and family oriented and have a strong connection to the earth and nature. They want to have their own businesses, and with the Young Living opportunity, they are growing quickly. It’s a wonderful country and the food is delicious.” We have many members from around the world building in South Africa; and with our new partner, the Amanzi Amahle Farm and Distillery in Cape Town, members will be able to experience our Seed to Seal® commitment firsthand. This 29,000-acre farm produces the oils of Eucalyptus Radiata, Tea Tree, Grapefruit, Orange, and Lemon, which are all very important to us, especially for supporting the immune system and flavoring different recipes. Have fun experimenting with how to use them. South Africa is going to be a great adventure for all of us in Young Living as we watch the excitement spread across this magnificent continent. Thank you for your love and support,

MARY LIGHTHOUSE OPENS

A historical moment for The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation and Hope for Justice partnership

“I can’t put into words what you are doing. I can only applaud you.” —Mary Young Since 2016 The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation has been working alongside Hope for Justice to empower lives affected by human trafficking. The past three years have seen monumental success—including over $1 million raised at the 2018 International Grand Convention to expand the Shine Career School in Cambodia and bring the fight against modern slavery to Africa. Two months ago Mary Young, CEO and co-founder of Young Living, attended a Young Living Foundation service trip to Uganda for the first time to see how your donations are accelerating efforts in the field and empowering lives. To commemorate Mary’s visit and to celebrate the generosity of Young Living members who have donated to the cause, the Hope

for Justice team had a very special surprise waiting for our leading lady. On September 10 Mary joined Hope for Justice Founder Ben Cooley in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newest Lighthouse center in Uganda: the Mary Lighthouse. Located in Kampala, this is the fourth Lighthouse center we are funding in Uganda and the second in the country built specifically to help girls who have been rescued from exploitation. The Mary Lighthouse will employ 11 full-time staff and care for up to 30 girls at a given time as they begin the process of rebuilding their lives and learning to dream again after suffering at the hands of human trafficking. This center will primarily focus on helping girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking. While discussing the ways that this new center will support girls who deserve opportunities to overcome their past traumas, Mary told Hope for Justice staff, “I can’t put into words what you are doing. I can only applaud you.” This holiday season learn more about how 100 percent of donations to the Young Living Foundation empower lives through our partnerships such as Hope for Justice and get involved by joining the Freedom Builder movement. A monthly contribution of as little as $1 is enough to inspire lasting change. Visit YoungLivingFoundation.org/freedom for more information today.
