NEWS OF THE WORLD LEADER IN ESSENTIAL OILS
Volume 2 Issue 3
Founder’s message I spent much of February travelling across the United States spreading a message I believe in deeply: Young Living offers tools and products for those who choose to be transformed.
Imagine a life elevated by these four virtues! Imagine the good you could do, the inspiration to others you could become. That is what life with Young Living is all about. The choice is yours. As we move forward with the Slique Experience, some individuals will lose sight of what this campaign is all about. To be clear, this campaign is not about weight loss. Weight loss is simply the measuring tool we use to calculate the healthy changes that will take place within your body and mind. What the Slique Experience is all about is making a choice to be changed, to transform your life, and to accept what Young Living can offer. I have never been more anxious to see the life-enhancing results that I know will occur as you live the Slique Experience. Take advantage of this amazing opportunity that is before you. As you do, I promise you will look back with gratitude for the real and lasting changes that have come into your life. Choose to be transformed. Essentially yours,
Every spring, distributors and volunteers converge on Young Living’s farms to seed and plant lavender and melissa. This year, participants will be planting a variety of trees and plants at St. Maries and Highland Flats farms, Whispering Springs in Mona, Utah, and the lavender farm in France.
Young Living Spring planting a time for revitalisation Spring has long been revered as a season of awakening and renewing. Rising from winter’s bitter days are blossoms and colours spurred to life by the sun’s warmth. Spring is the season of refreshment, regeneration, and transformation. Drawing on the season’s spirit of revitalisation, Young Living will return to its roots with a truly international spring planting event, beginning in the Intermountain West in April and spanning into the beautiful, enchanting French countryside during May. “The spring planting season is an opportunity for us to reengage with nature and realise the importance of planting trees and plants to replace those we harvest and distil every year,” says Cory Weaver, Young Living’s vice president of global farm operations. This year will present new challenges and experiences that have not been available for several years, as Young Living’s aggressive farm vision is leading to the great acreage expansion at the Young Living Essential Oil Farms in Mona, Utah; St. Maries and Naples, Idaho; and Simiane-la-Rotonde, France. The expansion in Utah will include 35 acres of lavender, 60 acres of peppermint, and 10 acres of oregano. Distributors who volunteer in Idaho will be planting more than 60 acres of lavender, melissa, and tansy—as well as more than 25,000

balsam fir, Western red cedar, and Douglas fir trees. “Our distributors will be able to come and participate in nature’s regeneration,” says Cory. “Hopefully, they will also see the parallel to their own lives and see that it is time to reenergise themselves. People, like plants, lie dormant during the winter, so this will be a great opportunity for them to get themselves reengaged with their own well-being.”

Hearing this powerful message, our wonderful distributors packed meeting rooms in Idaho, Colorado, California, Oklahoma, and New York to be introduced to one of the most exciting and beneficial campaigns Young Living has ever unleashed—the Slique™ Experience. This life-changing program is geared to lead all participants to wellness, purpose, abundance, and vitality or, in short, to a transformed life.
There may not be a better place for Young Living distributors to spend a few weeks in May than in France. Although the lavender died off a few years ago in the region from where all of Young Living’s lavender seeds originate, the soil and time is now right for 10 acres of new lavender plants to dot the hillside. “The planting season allows distributors to get involved at the beginning of the Seed to Seal® process,” explains Cory. “They will actually be planting the seedlings; then in two to three years, the plants will be ready to harvest. It is a great experience to watch the expansion and see what we’re doing to meet the needs of Young Living.” To register for these events, visit www.youngliving.com/en_US/company/ farms/springplanting.html
