GAINING CAREER-RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE Internships are a core element of your business education. This is your opportunity to gain professional experience in your chosen career field. We believe your time is valuable, and the work you do is meaningful! This is why all credit-bearing internships through the WCBA must be paid.

During my time at the WCBA, I received the support, guidance and encouragement that taught me to own my future career. I quickly got involved around campus in Beta Gamma Sigma, Student Leadership Council, Penguin Productions, Student Athlete Advisory Committee and more. After completing four internships during my studies and building my resume with valuable experience, I was able to narrow down a career path and was fortunate to accept a position with one of the companies. Aly Ryan BSBA ‘16 Marketing Manager Siemens | Norcross, GA Being a kid from inner-city Cleveland, OH, I can personally say there was a gap between my personal and professional development. The WCBA certainly helped bridge that gap, and mold me into the professional that I am today. I honestly do not believe I would have accomplished my long term professional career goal of passing all four parts of the Uniform CPA Exam on the first try without the faculty, curriculum, and resources provided by the WCBA. Curtis Parks, BSBA ‘18 Assurance Associate PricewaterhouseCoopers | Cleveland, OH
