Age 16+ This program will include traditional water fitness exercises and nontraditional activities. With an emphasis on increased speed, intensity, while including designated breaks between activities.

Deep Water Aerobics

Age 16+ Participants must be able to swim 25-yards unassisted without equipment This non-impact class offers freedom of movement through water without touching or standing on the bottom. This class is great for cardiovascular exercise or helping treat muscle and bone injuries. Water depth of 8-feet. (Aqua belts and barbells provided. Must bring own water noodle)

Age 16+ Deep water workouts with no impact to your body’s bones or joints. High energy intervals guaranteed to trick your metabolism into working more efficiently and finishing the class with core strengthening and stability.

Piloga

Age 16+ Bring balance to body and mind in shallow water with a combination of Pilates and Yoga. Class combines core and back strengthening with the balance of mind and body calming stretches.

SWIM FOR FITNESS

Age 16+ Swimming is the number one exercise among adults to improve cardiovascular health, build muscle strength, endurance, and maintain a healthy weight. We are excited to assist you with regular opportunities for you to swim your way into fitness!

Sharing lanes with a fellow swimmer is encouraged, please direct any questions to staff before starting your workout. Use of the pool is not exclusive and will be shared with others Cosumnes CSD programs.
