September is National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month.

One in five children in the United States are obese. Childhood obesity puts kids at risk for health problems that were once only seen in adults, such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. There are opportunities to change these trends. Cosumnes CSD encourages your family to attend this FREE event to learn how to make healthy changes together. Children are encouraged to come dressed in superhero-style!
