n The comprehensive guide to what’s on in York
May we take your coat? Welcome to York! Seriously, whether you’ve come to our fair city from the other side of the world, or from just down the road, we hope you have a cracking time. We feel that we can welcome anyone to York, despite not being the Lord Mayor, or the Sheriff, or one of those people that wear ceremonial gold chains and big hats when the Queen visits. That is because we are York, through and through, and WE’RE EVERYWHERE! Like some great spy network we have agents in the field all over the city and surrounding areas, tirelessly working behind the scenes to scope out the latest in events, happenings and general fun goings-on. If it happens in and around York, it’ll will be found in these glorious pages. So keep us safe, eh? No matter where your interests lay, you’ll be well catered in this city this month. May is so chocka-block with awesomeness that we had difficulty fitting it all in. There are concerts, events, festivals, coffee mornings, charity gigs, days out, and dozens of fun things to see and do. From Sherman tanks to freshly-grown asparagus, we have it all. Keep us in your pocket or your bag, whip us out when you’re stuck for something to do, and have a jolly good time. Happy May!
