In Seekers of the Shard, for the first time ever, players can choose their own path, visiting different locations whilst encountering unique enemies, characters and challenges as you attempt to find a mysterious ‘shard’ to save the realm from destruction. It’s Sandbox VR’s first experience with multiple storylines, so users can play again and again, to explore new adventures.
The new game has launched with a host of improved features, including free-roam wireless technology, removing the need for a backpack for improved agility, whilst a new headset promises to improve the field of vision and graphics, to create the ultimate immersive experience. In addition, a new innovative toggle feature gives players the option to remove graphic violence from the game if required, making it friendly for all types of players.
After playing, you will receive personalised highlight videos to take away similar to movie trailers, which capture everything from the laughter and excitement to the intensity and screams of your experience which you can enjoy while indulging in a special edition cocktail created for the launch. Made by the UK’s first permanent robotic bartender, “Toni” can serve up to 80 drinks per hour, performing all of the complex motions expected from a mixologist including shaking, stirring and muddling, so choose your poison, sit back and enjoy the show!

Seekers of the Shard will be followed by the hotly anticipated Sandbox VR x Squid Game virtual reality experience, which is set to open late 2023. In it, players are transported to iconic Squid Game locations, where they become contestants in a variety of heart-pounding challenges inspired by the Netflix series, and compete against each other to be the last one standing.
