The National Geographic Traveller (UK) Food Festival returns to London’s Business Design Centre from Saturday 15 July to Sunday 16 July.

With Masterchef judges John Torode and Anna Haugh heading up the line-up, the festival will also feature Main Stage demonstrations by restaurateur Asma Khan, food and drink writer Melissa Thompson and writer and restaurateur Thomasina Miers. They’ll be joined by cookbook author Ixta Belfrage and writer and restaurateur Ravinder Bhogal, as well as Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich, the husbandand-wife team behind the Honey & Co restaurants.

When it comes to food, there’s nothing better than seeing the masters in action. The two Masterclass Theatres will showcase some of the world’s most fascinating cuisines, via a series of live cooking demonstrations and tastings.

Speakers Corner represents a more intimate setting, in which visitors can hear from the authors of some of the most exciting recent cookbook releases. The programme will take a deep dive into the culinary destinations that inspired these works, with visitors invited to ask questions before being able to purchase their favourite cookbook and get it signed. Authors include Irina Georgescu, Mandy Yin and Karan Gokani, with more to be revealed over the coming weeks.

Glen Mutel, editor of Food by National Geographic Traveller (UK), comments: “With only four months to go until our third Food Festival, it’s great to see the line-up taking shape with our trademark mix of established names and exciting new talent, representing a mixture of different approaches, cooking styles and culinary influences. What’s more, there’s plenty still to come.” foodfestival.natgeotraveller.co.uk
