Luce di Rosa, Acqua di Parma’s newest addition to the Signatures of the Sun collection, is a fragrance defined by contrasts and radiant light. This genderneutral scent embodies the Maison’s mastery in capturing the complexity of precious ingredients, blending them into an unexpectedly sophisticated
composition. Luce di Rosa is a contemporary and dynamic fragrance where the rich warmth of rose contrasts with a sharp, mineral edge, creating a chiaroscuro effect that gives life to a multifaceted olfactory experience, reminiscent of a symphony that shifts between piano and forte, adagio and vivace.
The fragrance opens with a bright, invigorating burst of bergamot and mandarin, enhanced by the spicy notes of black pepper and pink pepper CO2 extract, with a touch of cardamom. This vibrant introduction paves the way for a sensory journey that unfolds with the noble Bulgarian Rose at its heart. Known for its intense freshness, this rose is paired with verdant geranium, forming a floral core that is both rich and complex. The heart of Luce di Rosa captures the essence of nature’s raw beauty, balancing vibrant, clean notes with a deep, natural freshness. The fragrance then settles into a grounding base of vetiver, guaiac wood, and cedarwood, wrapped in soft musk, creating a lasting impression that evolves over time.
The star ingredient, Bulgarian Rose, is distilled from flowers harvested in Bulgaria’s Kazanlak region using a steam-water process that preserves its vibrant floral, spicy, and honeyed notes, making it a prized element in perfumery.
The Luce di Rosa experience is further enhanced by two exquisite objects: the Luce Di Rosa Jewel Masterpiece Edition and Tray, created by French jewellery designer Annelise Michelson. The gold-plated brass Jewel Masterpiece Edition features a sculptural bottle cap inspired by the flowing movement of fabric, echoing the designer’s renowned Drapé collection. This cap, which captures the graceful folds of drapery in motion, creates a striking visual contrast, embodying the fragrance’s dynamic and luminous nature.
The Tray, also crafted from gold-plated brass, features a rippling surface that mimics the contours of fabric caught in motion. It combines practicality with artistry, transforming the act of experiencing Luce di Rosa into a moment of pure aesthetic pleasure. Each piece invites you to immerse yourself in the vibrant, contrasting world of Luce di Rosa, where every interaction with the fragrance is an indulgence in beauty and light.

Staying true to the Black Bay aesthetic, the Black Bay Chrono makes the iconic "Snowflake" hands - a signature feature of Tudor divers' watches since 1969 - its own. This version is carefully refined for optimal readability on its blue domed dial, which features two recessed silver sub-dials. Inspired by the first generation of Tudor chronographs, the dial includes a 45-minute counter and a date window at 6 o'clock. The distinctive elements of the Black Bay line - satin-brushed and polished finishes, bevelled lugs, and a Tudor rose-embossed crown - are maintained within a 41mm steel case. Reflecting the meticulous attention to detail that defines the brand, the stainless steel pushers are modelled after the very first Tudor chronographs. A fixed stainless steel bezel with a blue anodized aluminium tachymetric scale insert completes the sporty look and functionality of this chronograph.
The new Black Bay Chrono model comes equipped with a 5-link stainless steel bracelet featuring the Tudor “T-fit” rapid adjustment clasp. This user-friendly system, requiring no tools, offers five positions for fine, instant adjustments, with an 8mm adjustment range. The clasp also incorporates ceramic ball bearings, ensuring a smooth and secure closure, while adding a satisfying tactile experience.
Powered by the Manufacture Chronograph Calibre MT5813,
the Black Bay Chrono offers hour, minute, second, chronograph, and date functions. The movement showcases the typical Tudor Manufacture finishing, with an openwork tungsten monobloc rotor, satin-brushed and sand-blasted details, and bridges and mainplate featuring alternating sand-blasted and polished surfaces with laser decorations.
With a 70-hour power reserve and a silicon balance spring, the MT5813 is COSC-certified, exceeding the standards set by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute. While COSC allows a daily variation of -4/+6 seconds for uncased movements, Tudor applies a stricter -2/+4 seconds standard to the fully assembled watch. This high-performance movement, crafted in the tradition of fine watchmaking, features a column wheel mechanism and vertical clutch. Reflecting Tudor's commitment to quality, the movement is built for exceptional durability and reliability, backed by rigorous testing.
The MT5813 is derived from the Breitling Chronograph Manufacture Calibre B01, featuring a high-precision regulating organ developed by Tudor and exclusive finishes. This movement is the product of a lasting collaboration between Tudor and Breitling, where both brands have pooled their expertise in designing and producing select mechanical movements.

This First Edition timepiece, designed with a symmetrical dual-dial layout, features an elegant 39-mm round case crafted from 18-karat white gold. As with all Armin Strom First Editions, it comes with an extended 10-year warranty, underscoring the brand’s commitment to longevity and excellence.
Armin Strom showcases its expertise in "the science of movement" with the Dual Time Resonance timepiece, offering an innovative level of resilience against disturbances to the Resonance effect.
On the dial side, the kinetic beauty of Resonance is fully revealed. The synchronized oscillation of two balance wheels in Resonance, coupled with the captivating pulsation of the clutch spring as it transfers vibrations between them, provides a mesmerizing visual experience.
One of the key features of this timepiece is its ability to set the two time zones entirely independently. Unlike most dual time zone watches, which typically allow independent adjustment of only the hours, Armin Strom’s Dual Time GMT Resonance permits both the hours and minutes to be set separately on each of the two dials.
At the heart of the Dual Time GMT Resonance First Edition is the new ARF22 calibre, a manually-wound Resonance movement, and the 18th in-house calibre developed under the guidance of Claude Greisler, Armin Strom’s co-founder and master watchmaker. This movement features two independent, symmetrically mirrored oscillators that synchronize in antiphase through the natural phenomenon of Resonance. Powered by two mainspring barrels, the watch offers a 42-hour power reserve, all managed by a single crown at 4 o’clock. The movement drives two separate gear trains for the independent time displays, with engraved and mirror-polished day/night indicators - depicting the sun and moon - mounted on 24-hour wheels.
While the dial side showcases many of the watch's most
visually intriguing features, the case back reveals the movement’s symmetrical architecture. The unique ratchet click system on the dial side enhances the winding experience, providing an engaging animation that transforms winding the watch into a multi-sensory experience.
Unlike traditional click mechanisms, the Dual Time GMT Resonance employs a three-dimensional ratchet mechanism connected to a pinion between the two barrels, ensuring even load distribution. This system includes a gear with Breguet teeth fixed to the main plate and a top element with a spring connected to the axis, resulting in smoother operation, more efficient energy transfer, and greater durability.
The First Edition features two symmetric sky-blue dials with a grenage finish, making Armin Strom the only brand currently producing Resonance timepieces with dual symmetric time dials. The dials are complemented by dual engraved and mirror-polished day/night indicators that display AM/PM for each time zone.
Two crowns, positioned at 4 and 8 o’clock, allow for independent setting of each dial. The watch is secured by an 18-karat white gold pin buckle and comes with two straps: a matte grey alligator strap with sky-blue stitching and a light grey alligator strap with pearl-grey stitching.
For this edition, the sky-blue grenage dials are framed by black azurage chapter rings with applied polished baton indexes, perfectly complementing the faceted hands. The twin balance bridge, crafted from steel, features a flat surface polished to a mirror finish, showcasing the highest standards of traditional haute horlogerie decoration.
The calibre’s lavish hand-finishing includes polished bevels, screws, and countersinks, along with circular graining, perlage, and Geneva stripes. The contrasting anthracite and silvery tones enhance the visual depth, creating a dramatic interplay of light and shadow.

“I want to be part of what is to come” declared Gabrielle Chanel. Arnaud Chastaingt, Director of the Chanel Watchmaking Creation Studio, has fulfilled this wish with the introduction of a striking new creation: the Première Sound watch. This innovative piece reimagines the classic Première Édition Originale watch by transforming it into a long sautoir necklace that incorporates a watch and wired headphones, blending timeless elegance with modern connectivity.
Originally launched in 1987, the Première watch has always been a symbol of enduring style. Its design, featuring the instantly recognisable octagonal case inspired by the No. 5 perfume bottle stopper and a bracelet reminiscent of the chained strap of the house's iconic bags, reflects the brand's unique spirit of freedom and audacity.
The new Première Sound watch stays true to this legacy while embracing contemporary trends. The watch’s bracelet doubles as a necklace, connecting seamlessly to smartphones or any audio device. The headphones, equipped with a microphone and remote control, allow users to adjust volume, manage playback, and answer calls, all with a simple click.
Marrying sophisticated design with cutting-edge audio technology, the Première Sound headphones offer high-quality sound and passive noise insulation, ensuring an immersive listening experience free from external distractions.
Just as the original Première watch revolutionised traditional watchmaking, the Première Sound continues this legacy of creative innovation. It combines natural elegance with technological prowess, allowing wearers to stay connected to their world with style and freedom. Whether navigating the city or enjoying a quiet moment, the Première Sound watch is designed for those who embrace life’s ever-changing rhythm.
The Fiftysix collection draws its distinctive character from the 1950s, an era celebrated for its round, elegant timepieces. This collection takes particular inspiration from Vacheron Constantin's Reference 6073, introduced in 1956, a milestone in the Maison’s history. Notably, the 6073 was one of the first Vacheron Constantin watches to incorporate a self-winding movement, at a time when hand-wound mechanisms were still the norm.
This watch’s blend of technical innovation, precision, and reliability is matched by its bold design and retro elegance. The Fiftysix models echo this legacy with their streamlined design, highlighted by lugs inspired by the branches of the Maltese cross. Like the original, these timepieces feature a box-type crystal that sits prominently above the bezel, a sector-type dial, and a harmonious mix of Arabic numerals and baton-style hour markers, all hallmarks of the 1950s aesthetic.
The 40mm round case of this timepiece, crafted in 18K 5N pink gold, is gracefully extended by lugs inspired by the Maltese cross. The case encircles a sector-type dial that
pays homage to the watch designs of the 1950s. In a first for the collection, the dial is presented in a black tone with dual finishes - opaline at the centre and a sunburst effect on the chapter ringcreating a sophisticated interplay of light and shadow against the warm glow of the pink gold.
The dial’s contrast is further accentuated by applied 18K 5N pink gold Roman numerals, hour markers, and luminescentcoated hands, ensuring optimal legibility in low light. Topped with a box-type sapphire crystal, reminiscent of post-war watch styles, the dial exudes a retro-modern charm. Complementing this aesthetic is an anthracite nubuck calfskin leather strap, featuring ecru stitching for a touch of vintage elegance.
On the reverse, the Calibre 1326 self-winding movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, showcasing its refined Côtes de Genève finishing. The pink gold oscillating weight is meticulously openworked and embellished with a Maltese cross, a symbol of Vacheron Constantin's nearly 270 years of watchmaking excellence.

Founded by Greek power couple Dr. Andreas Androulakakis MD Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Cosmetic and Reconstructive, and Popi Makri (Clinic and Creative Director), The Galen Clinic is a new 6-star luxury global destination for progressive wellness in the heart of London. Set in a grade II listed Georgian building and situated within the renowned Harley Street area, Galen is set to become the number one Centre for Wellness in the UK for those who only demand the highest of quality.
The state-of the-art five-storey building has been impeccably restored and lovingly transformed by renowned interior designer Sissy Feida who is based in Athens. Sissy worked closely with the founders to interpret their vision and contemporary style, which has been harmoniously embedded in timeless classic values with precision at the core of the brand. All spaces and custommade structures were designed to bring excellence, whilst firmly remaining focused on the required functionality and it is the only Grade II listed Georgian building to have incorporated a lift and fully functional surgical theatre.
A modern, holistic clinic, Galen draws on Galenic philosophies by focusing on balance within the body’s systems, using comprehensive diagnostic approaches and offering individualised
treatment plans. This includes lifestyle changes through integrating various therapeutic modalities to treat the whole person rather than just the disease or the aesthetic concern. This multidisciplinary, progressive wellness centre provides an ultra-luxurious environment combined with medical and scientific excellence, offering the most nuanced services, treatments, and procedures.
Led by a team of specialist doctors, it creates a new benchmark in progressive wellbeing with the aim to preserve vitality, ageproofing the skin, body, and mind to elevate health and happiness. Galen is where your biological potential is supercharged with unrivalled expertise in longevity and holistic health solutions.
Inspired by Claudius Galenus, one of the most prominent Ancient Greek physicians, surgeons, and philosophers in the Roman Empire, his timeless philosophies and approaches to medicine and healing, centred around maintaining equilibrium, were foundational for many centuries in both Eastern and Western medical traditions.
These Galenic philosophies perfectly represent this allencompassing clinic and the sought-after services provided are intrinsically connected to the founder’s heritage, status and medical principles of precision and excellence. Offering pioneering and
signature cosmetic and regenerative treatments, Galen exists at the axis of scientific innovation and the human experience, with natural results and progressive methodology at its core. It is the perfect marriage of results-driven, scientific, and holistic medical treatments paired with a feeling of luxury, exclusivity, and indulgence.
As a world-recognised Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Androulakakis (affectionately known as Dr A), has devoted his professional time to the wellbeing of his patients, using plastic and reconstructive surgery to provide safe treatments with natural results. He has over 35 years of specialist experience and performed thousands of successful operations and his founding vision for a centre of progressive health is rooted in the belief that well-being comes from the full enjoyment of a long life, lived well. In particular, Dr A wanted an operating theatre which was calm and bright with blue skies above, ensuring the patient journey stays at the 6-star level as with all other Galen treatments and procedures.
He and Popi put together a team of experts in aesthetics, functional medicine, orthopaedics, and dermatology. Their vision for Galen is very clear and their aim is to redefine beauty with aesthetic intervention results being paramount to the patient experience. Using advanced diagnostic tools, they undertake to entirely comprehend the patient’s unique needs.
While modern medicine has moved beyond the specifics of Galenic theories, the overarching principles of holistic care can be traced back to the emphasis on balance, complexity, and the rational understanding of health and disease. Holistic medicine views the body as an intricate, interconnected system, much like Galen’s understanding of the body’s complexity, and the treatments at Galen are designed to support the body’s natural healing processes rather than just addressing symptoms or aesthetic issues.
An exclusive nutrigenomic test available at Galen determines how genes can affect your nutritional needs and provides insights to your biological age. It tells how nutrients in your diet and your genes interact and this genetic testing can guide your nutritional choices for optimal health and wellbeing. Biological Age Analysis pinpoints ageing from a biological standpoint using epigenetics to tell you how old you really are. This is where your biological potential is supercharged with unrivalled expertise in longevity and holistic health solutions.

With endless coastline, an abundance of beaches and wild mountainous terrains, Sardinia is the ancient jewel in the Mediterranean Sea's crown.
Wilder and greener than the north, the south of the island boasts stunning stretches of soft white sand beaches compared to the rocky coves found more commonly in the north and east.
The south is also a lot less built up than the north with more environmentally protected areas, herbaceous shrubs, and rugged terrain that's just asking to be explored.
Chia Laguna Resort, located in southern Sardinia boasts beaches that have been awarded the prestigious title of the 'most beautiful beaches in Italy' by Legambiente, the most prominent environmental association in Italy, making the area one of Sardinia's most iconic destinations.
Just 58kms from Cagliari International Airport, the resort comprises of three hotels, the Conrad with 107 rooms and suites; Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia, Curio collection by Hilton with 77 rooms and suites; and finally the Hotel Village with 240 rooms. With 424 rooms and suites in total, the impressive plot is spread over 13 hectares of rugged Mediterranean scrubland and ensures
there is suitable accommodation for all tastes and needs.
Sardinian's are rightly proud of the island and their culture. With over one million people and three million sheep, the wool from the sheep is used in local crafts and interiors creating many soft furnishings and clothes. The milk of the sheep makes the dairy industry in Sardinia one of its strongest.
The Conrad has taken inspiration from the island's culture and like many of the other properties in the brand's international portfolio, there are lots of unique design touches created in homage to the location. Traditional vases, wool cushions and wool rugs can all be seen in the lobby in a nod to the local heritage - and the many sheep. While light, cream voile curtains flow freely representing the wind seen on the island.
Another noticeable feature in much of the hotel is the stunning marble. Coming from the quarries located on Mount Tuttavista in Orosei, on the north of the island, breccia sarda marble - better known as Orosei marble - with its warm and welcoming tones ranging from beige to cream and hazelnut, is a very refined, elegant material and can be seen all over the hotel lending its beautiful hues to the light and bright colour scheme effortlessly.
Most rooms and suites boast breathtaking views of the turquoise sea and the nearby lagoon with the island's famed pink flamingos. The water in the south is crystal clear with a turquoise hue compared to the equally clear, but green tinged, water in the north.
Rooms and suites in the Conrad are ideal for couples, solo travellers and families with older children who can have their own room, while Baia di Chia is great for a more secluded escape in the lush hillside. Hotel Village is perfect for families looking for a more private home away from home. All resorts are just a short walk from the convivial, lively square where you can enjoy entertainment, ice cream, drinks and music.
Guests are allowed to mingle between the five pools in each resort, ensuring no overcrowding and choice. The Baia di Chia Resort boasts a wonderful 'green' pool which uses special tiling to blend into the very lush, green surrounds. Guests can immersive themselves on the cooling water beds set into the pool.
Pristine and uncrowded, the tranquil beaches surrounding Chia, including Chia Laguna have been named some of the most beautiful beaches in Italy by Legambiente, the most prominent environmental association in Italy. Other spectacular beaches nearby include Monte Cogoni and Dune di Campana, with its dazzling white sand dunes.
Chia is also hugely popular with water-sports fans and The Chia Classic windsurfing competition is held there each Easter so thrill-seekers can get their fix too.
Other facilities include 4 Tennis courts, 2 Padel courts and a 5-a-side football pitch, 2 gyms including the new Conrad gym located within the 1000 sqm Conrad Spa, meeting rooms, a pet-friendly area, private car park, Kids Club, 2 playgrounds, water sports and two impressive beach clubs.
Dining wise, across the resort there are 12 restaurants and 8 bars allowing guests to be spoilt for choice. The Conrad boasts the La Terrazzo Restaurant, with 100 indoor seats and 134 outdoor seats; Sa Mesa traditional Sardinian Restaurant; and the Bioaquam Pool Bar and Restaurant which is perfect for a spot if fresh fish poke bowls, tricolore salads, and pasta.
Sa Mesa in particular is a must visit to try some more authentic Sardinian dishes. Meaning “the table” in Sardinian, Sa Mesa is the place to meet and share, joyfully savour good food. Inspired by authentic Italian trattorias with a large patio area, enjoy the likes of fregula, a Sardinian pasta with fresh seafood; stuffed culurgiones ravioli-style pasta, and sebadas - a sweet dumpling style dessert filled with Pecorino cheese, and served with honey and sugar. Each course can be enjoyed alongside a wide range of Sardinian wine and of course, Mirto, a myrtle liqueur famed on the island.
Over in Baia di Chia resort, standout locations include Il Ginepro Restaurant the new main restaurant for guests of the resort. Inspired by nature, and taking from the name “Juniper”, the restaurant is a tribute to the secular plants growing amid the sand and granite. The interiors highlight the light of Sardinia with its pale wood and furniture made of reeds from the lagoon. Here, guests can enjoy a full buffet breakfast with Italian delights or freshly prepared cooked dishes. While for dinner, indulge in fresh, modern Mediterranean cuisine and traditional Sardinian dishes.
For pre-dinner drinks or a leisurely lunch during a pool day, Il Canneto Bar is the perfect spot. From spritz's to negronis, enjoy some live music while sipping a sundowner in the tranquil gardens.
Holidays are made for relaxing, and what better way to unwind than at the spa. With stunning water gardens, the Conrad Chia Laguna has redesigned the authentic hydrotherapy cycle tradition by combining water and conviviality. Here you can immersive yourself in the fragrances of the island, the spirit of the Sardinia weaves its way into treatments with nature and tradition at the heart.
Specially created treatments use local ingredients like honey and salt. The honey ritual in particular, allows guests to go on a unique sensory experience. First, you sample different varieties of pure, organic Sardinian honey, choosing a favourite to use as a soothing mask, before an extremely relaxing and calming full-body massage.
To finish off, you’ll be served a herbal tea made with the same type of honey used throughout the Ritual, made even more appealing with the option of adding ginger.
The Chia ritual is performed with a cream made from honey, myrtle and olive oil and thoughtfully celebrates the most authentic way Sardinians welcome guests and friends - with honey and myrtle - to make them feel at home and harness the powers of nature for cosmetics.
Just a mere two and a half hours by plane and with a time difference of an hour, Sardinia is a fantastic option for a romantic retreat or family holiday alike and what better place to visit than Chia Laguna Resort which truly boasts something for everyone in this sun-drenched haven.
Room rates for Conrad Chia Laguna start from £395 per night for 2 people.

The prestigious neighbourhood of Mayfair needs no introduction. Home to world-class shopping, bespoke retailers, fine dining restaurants and cultural attractions, Mayfair lies just moments from iconic London attractions such as Buckingham Palace, leafy Green Park and Hyde Park, and buzzy Piccadilly Circus.
However, while the area enjoys a world-renowned reputation today, it wasn't always so glittering. Mayfair’s humble beginning dates to before the Norman Conquest to Anglo-Saxon times. Through various bequeaths and following the Dissolution of the Monasteries, the ‘The Hundred Acres’ of pastureland that was eventually to become Mayfair passed in 1662 to Alexander Davies, who unfortunately died from the Plague in 1665 leaving the bulk of this estate to his infant daughter Mary, who was eventually betrothed and married to the baronet, Sir Thomas Grosvenor.
In 1686 the decision was taken with the approval of King James II, to move the then annual ‘May Fair’ from its original home to a corner of the muddy field owned by Lady Mary Grosvenor, today known as ‘Park Lane’. The annual May Fair continued to attract an unsavoury crowd and, to culturally improve the area in 1764 wealthy landowners commissioned property developer Edward Shepherd to design the area known today as ‘Shepherd Market’ as the new the home of the May Fair.
By an Act of Parliament in 1711, Mary’s land was then passed to the male line of the Grosvenor family and leases began to be granted to develop the vacant fields into an estate of “overriding architectural unity”. High levels of building followed, with royalty and aristocrats quickly snapping up residences in this now sought-after area.
Today, Mayfair continues to be well-sought after and now, you can live the life without the property in a home away from home, exploring the many restaurants, cultural landmarks, world-class retailers, thought-provoking art galleries and museums the area has to offer.
Explore nearby Piccadilly, where Fortnum & Mason, The Royal Academy of Arts and historic Burlington Arcade lie near the verdant surrounds of Green Park and Hyde Park Corner.
Located on Half Moon Street, just off of Piccadilly and close-by to Green Park station, The Mayfair Townhouse is the perfect base for exploring the area.
Opened in May 2021, the Townhouse is the fifth British Hotel from Iconic Luxury Hotels and comprises of 15 Georgian townhouses, seven of which are listed buildings. Home to 172 rooms and suites, there are a variety of different Room types, a collection of modern Suites, including some with their own private patio, and three Signature Suites that mimic the luxury lifestyle that Mayfair is known for while boasting incredible views overlooking London’s vibrant West End.
Drawing inspiration from characters such as Oscar Wilde - Half Moon Street was the setting for Oscar Wilde’s most famous play, The Importance of Being Earnest - and the flamboyant aesthetic movement of that period. Built from 1730 and completed by 1746, the street was a colourful haunt for bachelors, bohemians, and artistic types in Victorian London.
Paying homage to the colourful history of the street, the hotel showcases a contemporary British style with exuberant, witty touches throughout. Twists of the unexpected, curiosities, and a humorous, playful design tone resonate throughout the hotel whilst maintaining the sense of your own private Mayfair residency.
Drawing on design elements of the Dandy era and the property's Georgian architecture, The Mayfair Townhouse elegantly blends the rich history of the old, with the electricity of the new, to create an essence of ‘Old Mayfair, Meets Mayfair.’
Throughout the property there are nods to its past, from the period furniture to colour scheme to curated artwork that restores the Georgian spirit to the property in a modern and eclectic way.
Ideal for leisure or business travellers, the flexible accommodation is also perfect for family and group travel. What's more, rooms and suites come with complimentary minibars, as well as 24 hour room service, mobile check-in and out, laundry services, Chomecast TV's, and luxury amenities.
There are five room categories: Cabin Room, Classic Room, Deluxe Room, Deluxe Garden Room, and Executive Room. The Suites in particular, bringing a sense of the outdoors in, with photographs and illustrations of romanticised gardens and the fauna of England. Expect to find the highest quality linens and robes, luxury mattresses, bespoke toiletries, all through a sophisticated use of space.
Up in the Signature Suites, rich jewel tones mimic the colourful ensembles of the dandies that once strolled the neighbourhood. The expansive bedrooms lead into spacious living areas and headto-toe marble bathrooms. The large, airy open plan
designs of the rooms, not only offer fantastic space when entertaining, but are a rare find in hotels in central London.
There isn't a traditional restaurant at The Mayfair Townhouse, instead, there is an all-day dining concept that can be enjoyed in The Club Room. The heart and soul of the townhouse, is the aptly named, The Dandy Bar is inspired by the dandy characters of Mayfair’s past and present. Low-lit, with a private members club feel, guests can enjoy an extensive cocktail menu alongside smaller sharing plates.
The innovative cocktails are the star of the show, once again inspired by the hedonists of the area. Highlights include The Dandy Tribute with Bombay Sapphire gin, vermouth, Green Chartreuse, Maraska Maraschino, and Champagne; Penicillin with Monkey Shoulder, lemon juice, honey, ginger; and Not so Picante - Casamigos Reposado, Grand Marnier, Agave syrup, fresh lime juice, coriander, chilli, and Tajin seasoning. The Cinnamon and Baileys Espresso Martini is also a must try.
Like the rest of the stylish hotel, the playful textures and tones weave their way around the bar, elegantly
intertwining and complimenting the other areas of the townhouse. Art plays a central part throughout the hotel with Minda Dowling, a leading art specialist, curating unique and unusual pieces for The Mayfair Townhouse to further bring the spaces to life. The carefully considered collection includes both well-known names and emerging artists. Standout artwork includes Clarita Brinkerhoff’s peacock sculpture, sitting at 67 inches high and made from 25,000 Swarovski crystals. The fox, the hotel’s mischievous motif, is woven throughout the hotel. For those wanting to learn more about the artwork, QR codes have been developed so guests can scan the code that will provide information on the piece.
Furry friends don't need to miss out on the adventure either, as The Mayfair Townhouse is dog-friendly providing beds, bowls, meals and treats for visiting pups.
Nightly rates start at £252 for a room; £660 for a junior suite; £1,440 for a suite and £2,400 for signature suite. The pinnacle Fifth Floor Suite starts at £2,970 per night. All pricing is based on a room only basis for two people. Full English breakfast is available from £25 per person.
Located on nearby Mount Street, Mount Street Restaurant lies above popular pub The Audley. Artfarm, the company behind The Fife Arms in Braemar and Roth Bar & Grill in Somerset, transformed the iconic building under the direction of Paris-based design and architecture studio Laplace, to create a signature style that is both bold and timeless, bringing together food and drink, craftsmanship and culture, alongside worldclass contemporary art.
Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Mount St. Restaurant’s menu is inspired by the capital’s culinary history, while also featuring some traditional classics including an omelette Arnold Bennett and a lobster pie for two.
Honouring the past, while bringing recipes into the present with modern twists, standout dishes include a mock turtle croquette with oyster mayonnaise; Orkney scallops; caramelised shallot and fig tart with Driftwood goats cheese; and aged fillet of beef with bone marrow and mushroom on toast. There's also a fresh oyster and caviar section, Dover sole, rib of Westcountry beef and seasonal sides.

St. Restaurant also champions 'We are Grow', the agroecological farm and outdoor learning hub at The Totteridge Academy in north London.
Allowing the art and artisans to shine, the dining room walls are bursting with a collection of artworks including pieces by Lucian Freud “Self Portrait: Reflection” (1996), “A Plate of Prawns” (1958) and “Child Portrait” (1962); Andy Warhol “Lobster” (1982), Henri Matisse, “Éperlans (Smelts)” (1920 executed in Étretat), Frank Auerbach “Primrose Hill, Summer” (1968), Georgio Morandi “Natura morta” (1946) and Keith Tyson “Still Life with White Carbs” (2022).
The integration of art and design continues throughout the space with table lamps inspired by the iconic 1918 Powder Box by the late Swiss artist Sophie Taeuber-Arp, and salt and pepper cruets inspired by American artist Paul McCarthy’s muchdiscussed ‘Tree’ (2014) sculpture.
At the heart of the restaurant is the bar, made with beautifully enamelled lava stone with a crackle finish, curved verre bombé
glass panels and bespoke ceiling lights. Further championing British craftsmanship, the management uniforms for Mount St. Restaurant were designed by Savile Row’s female master tailor Kathryn Sargent using fine British wool, while plateware was designed by Richard Brendon, a British designer based in Stokeon-Trent.
Ideal for stylish, thought-provoking catchups for both the palate and mind, with colleagues and friends alike, the restaurant pairs delicious sustainable food with a fantastic wine list.
What's more, located on the three floors above Mount St. Restaurant are a collection of Curious Rooms. Four beautifully designed spaces, each with its own story and available for private hire. Mount St. Restaurant is open 7 days a week, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Other Artfarm properties include Manuela restaurant in Los Angeles, Durslade Farmhouse and Durslade Farm Shop in Somerset and the recently opened Mount St. Restaurant and The Audley Public House in Mayfair, London. Artfarm also acquired The Groucho Club in 2022. The company also boasts the nearby Farm Shop, also on Mount Street. With a wine bar, butcher shop and produce shop, Farm Shop opened in December last year and provides a real community hub offering fresh and seasonal produce from their 1000-acre estate farm in Somerset.
Packed with award-winning products, locals and visitors alike can pick up a coffee and a pastry, hearty roast beef sandwich, or store-cupboard ingredients for a wealth of meals ahead.
There's also a range of seasonal wild food, fruit and veg all curated by an in-house forager, and wine created with grapes grown on the estate in Somerset. Like Mount St. Restaurant, the shop is packed with artwork. All the artwork in and around the Shop, Butcher and Wine Bar was commissioned from The Royal Drawing School, who visited Durslade Farm over a two-day period and were given the opportunity to absorb, capture and celebrate life on the busy Somerset farm.

compact size and responsive handling making it perfect for both city streets and challenging off-road trails. The D110’s longer wheelbase ensures a smoother ride and expanded interior, making it ideal for families and explorers alike.
Founded in 2001 in Oxfordshire, near the historic Defender production site, Kingsley has a long history of working on Defenders for special projects. With the launch of this definitive Defender series, Kingsley offers a cohesive collection of re-engineered Defenders, blending their craftsmanship with the latest research and development to deliver a unified product line for customers around the world.
The new Kingsley Defender line is not just a restoration; it’s a complete reimagining of the classic Land Rover Defender. Each vehicle undergoes approximately 1,500 hours of meticulous craftsmanship at Kingsley’s UK headquarters, resulting in significant enhancements to performance, comfort, and durability. This redefined Defender emerges as a true modern classic, blending the vehicle's legendary heritage with contemporary advancements. While the standard models feature a restored original powertrain, the D90 showcased at Salon Privé boasts Kingsley’s new high-torque 4.2-litre V8 engine, pushing top speeds over 100 mph and achieving 0-60 mph in just 9.5 seconds. Delivering 220 bhp and 360 Nm of torque at 3,250 rpm, this powerhouse can also be paired with an optional four to eight-speed automatic gearbox, or even a Chevrolet LS3/LT1 V8 engine for those seeking extra muscle.

The Triumph Spitfire is a classic British sports car produced across five generations from 1962 to 1980. Designed in 1957 by the renowned Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti for StandardTriumph, the Spitfire made its debut at the London Motor Show in 1962. Over its 18-year production run, approximately 315,000 units were built at the Standard-Triumph Canley plant.
This car's development was initiated to compete in the growing small sports car market, particularly targeting the Austin-Healey Sprite. While the Sprite was built using the drivetrain from the Austin A30/A35 and featured a lightweight body, the Spitfire leveraged mechanical components from the Triumph Herald saloon. Unlike the Austin A30's unitary construction, the Herald was built on a separate backbone chassis, which Triumph cleverly downsized to avoid the costs associated with designing an entirely new chassis-body unit.
One of the Spitfire's distinctive features was its wind-down windows, a more advanced option compared to the side curtains used by its rivals, the Sprite and Midget. Additionally, the Spitfire's front cowl, which included the bonnet and wings, opened forward, allowing easy access to the engine.
However, the Spitfire's launch was postponed due to financial difficulties faced by Standard-Triumph in the early 1960s. The
project was only revived after Leyland Motors acquired the company. While evaluating their new purchase, Leyland executives discovered Michelotti's prototype hidden under a dust sheet in the factory and quickly gave the green light for its production.
Developed on a shortened version of the Triumph Herald saloon's chassis, utilising the Herald's running gear and the Standard SC engine, it featured a body-on-frame construction, with additional structural support provided by components within the bodywork, and rear trailing arms that were attached directly to the body instead of the chassis. The car came equipped with a manually operated convertible top, which saw significant improvements in later models, and a factory-option hard-top was also available for enhanced weather protection.
Named after the iconic Supermarine Spitfire fighter aircraft from World War II, this car carries a legacy of performance and style that is a distinguished example of British automotive design.
This example is a 1969 Triumph Spitfire Series 3, featuring white coachwork, a black interior, wire wheels, and overdrive, with just 71,265 miles on the odometer. This particular vehicle is a rare find, having been owned by a single lady since new, and comes complete with the original purchase invoice, manuals, and an extensive service history.
Named after the famed Supermarine Spitfire of World War II, the Triumph Spitfire boasts a plane-like appearance that screams British Classic.
London’s property market has remained robust over the second quarter of 2024, despite some uncertainty in the run-up to July’s general election. Savills latest research showed that transaction numbers for properties valued at £5million-plus still remain significantly stronger than they were before the pandemic, despite the nature of this market being highly discretionary.
Richard Gutteridge, co-head of Savills prime central London details how prime sales in the capital have strengthened over the quarter, with buyers looking to secure an address in some of London’s most prestigious postcodes.
There were a total of 120 £5 million-plus secondhand and new build sales across London in Q2 2024 with a combined value of £1.27 billion. This is an increase on the 92 recorded in Q1, and 38% up on the pre-pandemic average (Q2 2017-19). Although sales volumes remain -15% lower than Q2 2023. Similarly, for the £10 million-plus market there were 38 sales across London in Q2 2024, 18% up on prepandemic levels but -10% down on the same quarter last year.
Over the quarter, the greatest proportion (15%) of £5 million-plus sales took place in Belgravia, far higher than the 9% seen in the three years prior, thanks to greater investment into the area making it more
attractive to younger buyers, in particular. Traditional prime addresses in Kensington (14%), Mayfair (11%) and Chelsea (10%) closely followed - their appeal largely attracting domestic and international families seeking the lifestyle balance available here.
In keeping with strong domestic demand, £5 millionplus house sales made up a significant proportion of activity (64%) during the first half of 2024, with the highest number of house sales taking place in Kensington and Chelsea, both well-known for their larger family houses.
The impact of non-dom tax changes is likely to be most keenly felt in prime central London, where those affected have been weighing up their options.
Demand from domestic and other international purchasers has continued to be resilient, especially given the value on offer in a historical context, as well as growing stability in the mortgage market, with some lenders starting to lower rates in anticipation of a base rate cut.
However, it’s important to remember that most prime central London buyers do not have a non-dom status. Furthermore, there is little evidence to suggest that we will see a flurry of stock coming onto the market, as many of those affected by non-dom changes are likely to retain their base in the capital.
While much remains to be seen in terms of specific policies and proposals from the new government, sentiment is likely to improve now that the results of the general election are known.
Across central London, some may remain cautious ahead of Labour’s first fiscal event, but buyers are continuing to recognise the value on offer, both in a historical context and relative to other prime locations around the world.
